I gave Eon our Solar meter reading on the 3rd July and here we are more than 3 months later with a big fat zilch in our bank account.I phoned on 30th July to be told they were puting us on a new system and it would take another 2 weeks. Phoned again 24th August to be told payment would be made in 4 weeks. Suprise Suprise 4 weeks is up and still Zilch!!! We will have had Solar panels fitted for a whole year on the 14th November with nothing to show for our investment. I wish we had chosen a different supplier but went with Eon as we have been with them for several years as our main energy supplier.0

Have you tried contacting their complaints department?
Many posters on here have reported success in getting their problems sorted out (and monetary compensation) by going down the formal complaint route as opposed to keep contacting their FIT team.0 -

Back on topic, I submitted our EDF quarterly reading on 17th Sept, and got a PDF remittance advice emailed today (20th) advising of payment within 5 working days. :T:beer::j
Similar experience here. I submitted our EDF quarterly reading around midday on Wednesday (19th September) and just received my PDF remittance advice by email today. So, they turned it around in 2 days. Can't really ask for better turnaround time. Keep it up, EDF!3.50 kWp : 14 x 250W Sanyo NU-R250-J5 : Diehl Ako 3800S Inverter : South Facing : No Shading : Hertfordshire WD30 -

After reading your post I just checked for e-mails. Utterly shocked, submitted claim(s) yesterday, got my PDF for the original install already. Wow.
Something has definitely happened at EDF? But I'm not complaining.

Eon. What a pain in the rear. I rang them up because my sister told me too, even though I thought maybe I'd give them a month. Instead of giving me some 2 weeks excuse I get.... we haven't received your signed copy of the contract.
GRR. I still have the Royal Mail Receipt. I told the lady that. She told me she'd ring me back. She didn't.
Called earlier this morning. The guy said he'd pass the message on to the FIT team, and I should expect a call in the next 7 days.
I want to kill somebody. Why can't anything ever be simple?
Anybody know if I can switch to Scottish Power and still get the higher tariff?0 -
EDF
Again reading posts here I decided to send in our FIT meter reading on Friday, they emailed me at the beginning of the month asking for it.
First glitch came as I got an onscreen message asking me to check my meter reading as it was `outside their prediction` ( or something like that ). I pressed enter again, as I knew it was correct and was asked to explain why it was the reading it was !
All I could think of saying was that perhaps it was because I had been away on holiday ( Not ) and the period covered was slightly longer than previous ones. I did also say that I presumed that EDF already knew it was a `summer` reading and thus should be our peak production.
I only hope that I don`t get a delay in payment as a result.

Correct! Payment not received yet but fingers crossed it will be in our account tomorrow, which would be 7 days after reading submission.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

Good-ho! I've just submitted mine and got the "The reading is out of line with our predictions" and asked to submit an explanation.
I've entered that it is entirely in line with my projections and suggested that they sort out their estimating program.:rotfl:4kWp, Panels: 16 Hyundai HIS250MG, Inverter: SMA Sunny Boy 4000TLLocation: Bedford, Roof: South East facing, 20 degree pitch20kWh Pylontech US5000 batteries, Lux AC inverter,Skoda Enyaq iV80, TADO Central Heating control0 -

EDF probably use your MCS certificate prediction, which is based on SAP method and may be considerably far out from a PVGIS model prediction, which takes account of historical regional variations in climate.
Good luck, hope you get a swift payout too.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0
