Sent my meter reading March 27th. First payment into my bank today, 33 days - Keep it up EDF. JUST NEED THE SUN TO COME BACK NOW !
My EDF payment arrived in the account this morning too. Compared with almost three months for the past 5 payments, 35 days is exceptional.

I spoke to EON on Friday - absolute shambles - apparently they have a high-level of 'sickness absence'.

Quite frankly I won't be surprised if some of us never get our FIT payments, seeing the mess EON are in at the moment. If this is what they can do with a simple clerical procedure then thank heavens they have pulled out of the running to build nuclear power-stations in this country!

Thank you for your email to the E.ON Feed in Tariff Team.

Due to the current changes that are being proposed for the feed in tariff, we are experiencing an extremely high number of calls and emails. Therefore please be aware that it may take longer than our usual 10 working days to respond. Please accept this email as receipt of your query and that we will respond to you as soon as we can.
Continuing proof of the contempt in which EON hold their customers. Would they delay dividend payments to their shareholders in this way ? I think not !

In Nov 2011 I installed a 4kw solar PV system at my home and submitted it to my energy supplier EDF by 07/12/2011 in order to get maximum FIT. By the end of January I was getting concerned that I had'nt received my contract from them ....

I have had a very similar experience. 3.4kW PV system installed in December, before the 2011 cut-off date; installation paperwork acknowledged by EDF on 16th December 2011. Five months later (10th May 2012) and I'm *still* waiting to receive any paperwork simply to begin claiming payments. They say "it has been a busy time"! I'm beginning to wonder if their entire Green Energy Team comprises a 14-year-old on work experience. Unbelievable incompetence!

I know we don't always do things right and that we make mistakes. I also understand the frustration and anger these delays/mistakes can cause. However, we certainly don't treat customers with contempt or as idiots.

I hope my earlier post shows our commitment to sorting out the problem of late FIT payments. This commitment can be extended to other areas where customers have told us we've come up short.

We're determined to listen to our customers and change our practices accordingly. This initiative (Reset) was launched at the back end of last year and is being led from the very top of the business.

It covers every aspect of what we do and, as such, it'll take time to put everything in place but we've made a start.

Again, sorry we've given you such a poor impression in the past but hope this shows our determination to do things differently in future.

Talk is cheap. I call on EON to give an earnest of their good intentions by paying interest to all those people they have inconvenienced.

Board members will note that the EON representative has not deigned to reply to my suggestion that his company should pay interest on outstanding FIT payments.

From this, they may well infer that his previous pronouncements of remorse / hand-wringing were nothing other than humbug of the worst sort.

I would suggest to the EON representative that this forum is for the honest exchange of views, and ask him to consider whether his approach is compatible with that usage. Certainly board members do not require any further instances of corporate double-speak from him or anybody.

Seriously you're bothered about the matter of pence in interest you have missed out on? If you have managed to get yourself on to the pre march 3rd tariff rates you should be happy that you're getting paid well over the odds for your generation at the expense of everyone else out there.

Actually some of us are loosing pounds in interest not pence. I and many others have been waiting months just to get our contracts up and running with E.on let alone being paid what we are owed for what our panels are generating. Plus in the meantime they are charging other customers and being paid for what we are exporting back to the grid.

The energy companies (not just E.on) would soon disconnect us if we did not pay them for what we imported from them. If I owed E.on the amount they actually owed me I would have been cut off by now. Hence the reason why most of us are getting fed up with waiting.

E.ON Company Representative: Malc does seem remarkably absent from this thread after making all those assurances a while back.

Damage limitation looked to be what it was all about, but assurances mean nothing unless there's some action to match.

    Action, please?

i chased up e.d.f yesterday re. my f.i.t payments.

i was told the paperwork was not in order. i shouldve sent 2 pieces of i.d. i said i had enclosed a photocopy of my driving licence and my e.d.f electric bill. she says we dont accept electric bills as i.d :eek: this is the same bill she had sent me though :rotfl::rotfl:

but she was plesant and implied that if i said i "was very upset" about not recieving any payment she would "fast track" my application, and it would be all sorted in time for the june payment.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.
