I don't think you'll be very surprised to learn that I have not yet received my money.

I'm sure he'll be absolutely amazed (or at least will say so :rotfl:) that his reminder(s) had no effect !

A quick follow up to my earlier post. If anyone been with EDF for a while, can you say what the actual pattern of payments has been? Are they paying at the same interval each quarter?

I've been with EDF since July 2010. So far payments have appeared in my account between 2 months+10 days and 2 months+23 days from the end of the billing month.

Sorry margin but Amanda's not here at the moment. If you drop an email to the address in my Profile, I'll pick this up for you.

Also sorry if you've given us this info before. I'm afraid I can't see Amanda's mailbox.

Thanks Dave, that's a useful point of reference and consistency does at least make planning easier.

Well so much for Good Energy and their alleged good customer service!!! FIT application sent by email 28th March, with an auto response saying I'll get a letter in the post in a few days. A week later nothing has arrived, so I give them a call. Can't actually speak to someone in the FIT team, but they check my application arrived ok. Yep and they go through it to make sure it all looks ok and say not to worry they have a lot to go though.......

Roll on 3.5 weeks later, I get an email on 20th April saying there is a problem with my application......cut a long story short I get confirmation only today that they can't process my application on the original date of 28th March but from the 20th April. Oh and can we have an EPC while you're at it cos you're now past the 31 March deadline :(

I was sooo upset and annoyed you wouldn't believe it! No one returns your call when you ring, no-one ever takes responsibility. It's always 'that department' or I'll email them and ask them to call you. Which they never bloody do. Even tried the Customer Care section. What a joke. Same thing. No return call. Manager is very busy. Obviously - as the customers are not the priority.

Have to say I'm shocked at how bad they've been. I only signed up with because I'd heard good things about customer service and how prompt they were!!! They are ruddy not. Wish I'd gone with Scottish Power now. At least they tell you in advance it can take a month to process applications!

I submitted our first quarterly reading to EDF on 16th March. Just received an emailed PDF remittance advice of BACS payment being sent within 5 days of today, 25th April.

Payment within around 6 weeks from the reading submission doesn't seem too shoddy to me, and is far better than the 90days in the T&Cs. Still room for improvement but far swifter than the application process.

Well blow me down, EDF does seem to have got its act together. I too received BACS advice of payment yesterday following a reading I submitted on 29th March. I'll settle for that. So keep it up EDF. Has someone there been reading this thread?:j

I got one too, that's a lot faster than the Dec submission paid in mid Feb. They seem to be getting quicker as they get busier. Doesn't exactly sound like EDF! Any guesses when the June submission will get paid? Also it doesn't seem to matter when you enter the reading during the month, since most people appear to get paid on the same date(ish).
