Interesting - bears out my experience on mysupermarket. Asda has always been the cheapest with Tesco normally next then Sainsburys and Waitrose usually over 10% more expensive. In the last few weeks I'd noticed Tesco being more in line with Sainsburys and Waitrose, until last night where they were just 1p more expensive over a whole shop! (It would actually have been more than that because the Tesco subs for Asda own brand products were wrong and in one case didn't exists so I'd have had to spend £2 each more on branded items (I wanted 3). What that means however is that as Asda aren't going to be 10% below I should get around £6 back for the next shop with their 10% guarantee!

    TESCO BIGGEST CON ARTISTS EVER.......

My store today had celery "was 68p NOW £1.20 ", printed on a price drop label .
This "offer" has still not been sorted out! Online it shows "price drop - was 68p now 64p" yet for the last 2 weeks I have been charged £1.20 for the item when I have checked my delivery receipt. Price mismatches are getting worse and worse - when I first started with their online delivery service orders were usually perfect but in recent months I've hardly had a correctly charged order. Customer Service always refunds the difference, but to have the same error two weeks running indicates their systems & tills are not being correctly updated.

The basic price may have reduced but the lack of multibuys on basic goods means that prices have actually increased!

Last week 3x4pint semi-skimmed milk was 3 for £3. Today at the "reduced price" they are £1.25 each - total £3.75.

My milk bill goes up by 25%

    Bread products are similar.

"The big price drop"?? Marketing bull - Tesco shopping is actually MORE EXPENSIVE this week!

    The Big Price Drop
    - if it seems to good to be true then it probably is!

Incidentally, I have brought 2 x 4 pints for £2 at Asda this week for £2 and Iceland were also selling 4 pints at £1.

i only ever bother with tesco now for the really good offers. And I get a lot of clothes from there.

I noticed months ago that my weekly shop was more with them so i've been going to Mr M instead.

Although with Christmas coming up, I'll still only be buying whats on offer if its a good 'un

i get my milk from iceland £1 for 4 pints or co-op £1.15 for 4 pints (the purple top one) when they have it in
