Bananas are down in my local 58pence kg from 68pence. Still 68pence in Sainsbury.
Tesco value Kievs still available (had to hunt)£1 for 2 total weight 250g, but new sizes 260g and flavours coming in at £1.98 or 2 for £3.

Tesco was in the newspaper yesterday. Apparently they're making £10M profit a day. The price drop was mentioned in the article saying people were cynical about it. All it really said though, was that people from various groups are moaning about how they're putting the local stores out of business. I was hoping when it mentioned consumer groups, it'd be about their prices lol.

With this Big Price Drop, is Mr T continuing with the 'Real Food' ingredients deals. I got last weeks in store, yes the Pork chops as previously mentioned were overpriced at £6 on there own, but the whole list of ingredients for £5 was a pretty good deal.

Anyway, last weeks expired deal is still on line....

According to the tescorealfood website this weeks deal is supposed to be all the ingredients for chicken & leek pot pies but the buy ingredients link given with the recipe is not displaying the offer so it's unclear wether or not the offer has actually started yet.

Thanks, that looks like this weeks one, will await the official ingredients list to see whether it's worth while... annoyingly though, last weeks list had the whole grain mustard, and having only needed the odd spoonful I still have an almost full jar.... and I have to get another one in this deal. I don't use that much of it :eek:.

Not as good a deal as last week, especially with a jar of mustard I really won't need for 2 years!

If you follow the buy ingredients link on that page you can see what the ingredients cost separately, the items listed as 'you probably need these...' will be included in the deal the items listed under 'you've probably got these...' won't be. They add up £9.29 at the current prices so once the deal is in place you would save £4.29.
