Can I ask all the experienced ebayers how much you add to items to account for packaging costs, eg if the postage would be £3.50, how much would you allow to account for boxes, bags, bubble wrap etc ?
Thanks0 -

I use all recycled packaging so tend to just round the postage up to the nearest 50p or £1 to cover sellotape, time and getting to the post office!0 -
£12.45 to add for OH's royalties - academic stuff so not many sales!0

Thanks for your replies, I have been 'marked down' (but still positive feedback) by someone, and I think it was one where I had to use a new box and charged about 50p on top of postage to cover it.0 -

I've not emailed them myself as they say that it can take up to 4 weeks, which is about how long I've been waiting now. I think I remember someone getting a reply from them a week or two ago saying that they would all arrive by the 28th? Not sure if that will still happen though :huh:kirsteen1980 wrote: »Not looking forward to Xmas gift buying!
Lol, that's what I've been doing today! .... I really enjoyed it though
I went to the Boots Xmas shopping event, where you get £12 worth of points for every £50 you spend. I made the most of the 3 for 2 on gifts and got 10 presents, some perfume that was on offer, plus a big bundle of No 7 things (lots of full size products that they had just wrapped up and put on sale at half price!) - mostly for gifts.
After accounting for the extra points, I ended up getting £205 worth of stuff for £102.01 :T Oooh, and DS1 was given a free Ben 10 zip up top!!! It's actually really nice and quite suits him, the Boots lady noticed he was wearing a Ben 10 hoody and just grabbed one from the store room for him!
I'm really pleased with my shop as everything I bought had a purpose - I either needed them anyway, or knew who I was buying them for... I used to just get swept away in the excitement and just buy lots of 'pretty things' not knowing what I would do with them, lol.
For anyone that's interested, they've got another shopping event on 10th Nov (do check online though as some stores do them on different days).
Forgot about the Sainsburys sale, it's on for a while though isn't it? Do they restock while it's on, or is it a 'once it's gone, it's gone' kind of sale? I've never been to one before.
