my sainsbobs has rubbish toys, so just as well have no money for any :D

anyway, DS is getting a few select presents for xmas and his birthday, birthday in 2 weeks.

He has toys he plays with regularly and I rather that than too many and he plays with nothing.

mind you should get some for his friend's birthdays next year, stockpiling, etc.

oh well. still sitting here, struggling to get up and go out. will need to soon as have stuff to sort out in town.
  • I just got back from my Sainsbobs. Managed to get exactly what i was after for nieces/nephews and all at half price. Was on the way out the door when i spotted a Halo Megablox set. My son REALLY wants one. It was £60, down to £30. Looked at my reciept, and i had £35 worth of nectar points which i had been saving for food, but i guessed i wouldn't get this at that price again so i bought it. OH is also over the moon, mainly because he will be playing with it more than my son on christmas day! Lol.

Well, got 3 hours before i go to work. Guess what i'm doing for those 3 hours? EBAY!!! Lol :D Gotta make a start for November!

It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Really enjoyed seeing how super savvy Nat and CountingPennies have been with sainsbobs sale.... it's great how this site really educates us all into being more informed shoppers...nothing better than buying stuff you want for less than RRP and nothing worse than buying things you don't want - just 'cos they're on sale :( (I used to be in the latter group 'til joining here)

Good luck with the ebaying CountingPennies... I need to get my backside in gear and get the listings ready for Nov 1st... got my hands full at the moment with a bit of decluttering though....

so much to do so little time :) x

I know they had a backlog but even people were waiting for e-voucher for amazon, that can't be normal! maybe it has gone missing in the post.

I got my £10 from VO 2 days ago and £10 from maximiles. great service.
  • think valuedop's are being a bit rubbish recently....surveys are taking ages to be credited to my account...total has been hovering just beneath £10 for ages now :(
  • yes I shall definitely do it 'properly' in November :-)

Not looking forward to Xmas gift buying!
