I'm only awake now because I need to submit a quote for DH for some work, and needs to be in today. otherwise I would still be in bed fast asleep. I still feel like carp and feel sorry for DS. He will want to go out.

    Morning Aesop
Sorry you haven't had much sleep. Hopefully tonight you will. I don't get the constant need to let off fireworks. There are few and far between around here as we are in rural area, but in towns its ridiculous. So I feel for you.

Good news about the 2 day week. Hopefully something will turn up that you can do at home.

    Is hubby under pressure too.

    Take care

yes hubby took big pay cut last year to work for a new boss as he promised work 365 days a year - give and take a few, ie christmas, but that hasn't happened either.

last 2 years have been really carp.

My Manager was great yesterday, I had my annual appraisal. She made suggestions how to get DS into a nursery for free, for me to get work experience, that will help them. She is asking my Director to put me forward for training for free, it benefits them, and will help me.

She doesn't want to lose me, and I was very surprised at what she said.

no chance, DS is 4 in 2 weeks time, doesn't believe in daytime naps anymore.

he has already asked where we are going today...

will have a look and let you know.
  • Aww Aesop I feel your pain....:( xx (insomnia + a DD who is a live-wire)

DD got like that early on too :( (now 8) and thinks Mummy is an old woman for liking to doze on the sofa during the day.....don't think the dribblin' in my sleep helps my defence much lol

I can't believe a child of mine likes sleep so little tbh :)

    xx

Sorry things are tough at the moment Aesop - hugs to you. Great though about your appraisal - sounds like that was a boost and could turn up some good stuff for you. Hope you get to catch up with sleep soon!
