    Hi guys

just reading can I join please?

definatly start nov 1st and try and aim for 10quid a day.

feel boosted as made 10quid today from cashback sites
opened new ebay account for selling just need to find camera and list job for tommorow as thur listing to end sunday always seems best.

used to do surveys then they stopped sending

do you work out rough monetry value of each survey and add this to daily amount?

Also started comping again have tried this on and off last few years but not won anything.
    one month i entered 100
so going to aim for 10 a day =70 a week
as read 30 a week better chance of a win.

I had 2small wins this year

fb comp and raffle at daughters nursury day out-family day out to zoo.

Just hoping I enter enough it will stick

    ideally would love cash

but we need new tv for bedroom and dvd player

so will enter comps for things I need I guess.

will keep at it and not give up as have freinds who keep winning stuff every month.

going to try get credit card charges back would that count?

    This month I need

    £72 nursury fees
£90 eldests clubs for whole term
    £85 very cat
£50 new coat for eldest and snowsuit for baby
£35 shoes for eldest for school.
£30 hair before i scare the kids away with my wild mane
by some miracle £40 to take hubby on surprise to see dave gorman

    so in total £402:eek:

Need to start buying for xmas.
i do have some child benefit and tax credits coming in but

    £300 for november be fab.

havent tried bingo yet or daily clicks.

I did have to break my no spending pattern unfortunately today as I needed some new shoes for work as my current ones had a hole in the bottom, which I was just about living with as I hate buying shoes just for work, but then there was a hole worn through in the side as well, which didn't look very professional so I thought I'd better replace them! :o Was only going to spend a tenner, but found a cheap and cheerful pair in good old Shoe Zone for £6.99. I'm sure they will be falling apart in the blink of an eye, but I've only got a couple of months before I go on Maternity Leave anyway so I'm sure they will last until then.

Off to Shoe Zone with me, been looking past couple of weeks for some flat(ish) shoes for work.

Same as you due off on maternity in a few months and dont want to spend a fortune, plus HATE  anything flat, (only bad part of being preggers!!)

Starting to get desperate now thou as boots need zipping up and bump growing rapidly, so can only wear them 3 days when husband is at home to help , otherwise my trusty sandals which i'm guessing are no longer suited to the rain we starting to get.

    Whens baby due Monkey nut??

    xx

Do you need some long wearing shoes, such as if you're walking about a lot in them, in which case it's worth spending that bit more.

Yeah, I am on my feet for ages so it probably is worth spending the money but that leads me back to my original problem of never having the money spare because there are always a million other things to spend it on! Work shoes? Not even on the list!!! I may go and try the cheapies on (the first pair are perfect, apart from not being available in my size and also not being leather - may pong a bit after a 14 hour shift )
  • What blurb? that was the ranting and raving of comping and MSE addicts :D....it's called DEDICATION lol

    Evening all :)

Well I had the freebie gluten free ciabatta roll that came in the post last night and in true MSE style....

The box it came in got put with the ebay stuff (come in handy for posting small bits)
The bread roll I will find out the cost of and add it to monthly total ;)
and the vouchers that came with that I'm sure I'll add to something and ebay lol

How much value can one MSE'er squeeze from a freebie ? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Other additions from past 24hrs...went to Asda (bought a top :( shhhh...totally impulse purchase :( disappointed myself - tempted to return) but also got APG £1.07 + £5 off £40 spend voucher :)

gotta update sig at some point as I'm falling behind with it

hope you all had a good MSE day today x

Counting Pennies - I think that's the best motivation, I find it's only when my OH threatens to do some decluttering that I really pull my finger out, as even though he is getting better with Ebay lately, there's loads he would just throw away whereas I have the 'we might as well TRY to sell it first' attitude! Good luck :)

I now try everything on ebay at least once :) its really surprising what sells on there - always seems to be the things i would have thrown in the bin before :rotfl::rotfl:

I have the same problem! The (huge) hole in the bottom became an issue yesterday when I had to walk in the rain  I keep saying I'll replace them when I get paid then always have a million other things to spend my money on! What were your £6.99 shoes like? I need plain black court shoes but can't seem to find any for under £40 as they all have patterns or stitching on them!

Have you tried the new soles you can buy and just stick on yourself - i got some for like £1.50 and they lasted months LOL :)

I may get them in the meantime - I apparently really don't want to buy new work shoes! The problem with that is that there are also holes in the leather where my small toes are - yip, I really really need new shoes!
