Counting Pennies - I think that's the best motivation, I find it's only when my OH threatens to do some decluttering that I really pull my finger out, as even though he is getting better with Ebay lately, there's loads he would just throw away whereas I have the 'we might as well TRY to sell it first' attitude! Good luck
I think OH is gonna be surprised when he comes in if i manage to get finished before i have to go to work. I have so far sorted 2 large boxes of stuff to try on ebay, which includes a scalextric (not sure how u spell it, lol) that someone bought my hubby for his 30th last year. Its never been used so i hoping now is the time to sell on the run up to christmas. I've texted him and asked if he wanted it and he said to get shot of it so its going!
Taking a twenty minute break to make some dinner for my son. Feel like a bit of a bad mother today because i'm basically just let him watch dvd's and play on the x box all day. I'm sure one day won't hurt him...
I'm even changing the room about. I'll probably get wrong for that as it will possibly put my back at risk but while i'm feeling fit and in the mood for doing it i might as well give it a shot.
Well done on not spending for a few days Monkeynut! :TSlimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Wow! :T You definitely sound like you're on a roll.
The Scalextric should definitely sell well this time of year, particularly if it's all boxed. It's still such a popular present, that people are after it and if it's as new then hopefully people will pay almost up to what it would cost from the shops. Fingers crossed for you.
I did have to break my no spending pattern unfortunately today as I needed some new shoes for work as my current ones had a hole in the bottom, which I was just about living with as I hate buying shoes just for work, but then there was a hole worn through in the side as well, which didn't look very professional so I thought I'd better replace them! Was only going to spend a tenner, but found a cheap and cheerful pair in good old Shoe Zone for £6.99. I'm sure they will be falling apart in the blink of an eye, but I've only got a couple of months before I go on Maternity Leave anyway so I'm sure they will last until then.

I have the same problem! The (huge) hole in the bottom became an issue yesterday when I had to walk in the rain  I keep saying I'll replace them when I get paid then always have a million other things to spend my money on! What were your £6.99 shoes like? I need plain black court shoes but can't seem to find any for under £40 as they all have patterns or stitching on them!0 -
Hi debtfree
You have £79.25 more than you would have if you had done nothing:):)
Hope that makes sense !!!!!!!!!"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

My £6.99 shoes were just bog standard plain black flat dolly shoes, or ballet pumps, whatever you want to call them! Cheap and cheerful, but I have already put some plasters in my handbag in anticipation for them rubbing! That's the trouble with really cheapy shoes.
Do you need some long wearing shoes, such as if you're walking about a lot in them, in which case it's worth spending that bit more.
If not, and like me you just need them to look smart enough and decent but quality isn't as important, have just had a quick look on Shoe Zone website.

Congratulations on your pregnancy Monkeynut.... I didn't realise you were expecting!
Never got bedroom finished, and i'm off to work in ten minutes, but at least its all tidy. Gonna do some more sorting tonight when i get home from work. The bedroom looks 20 times better already though in my opinion. It REALLY needs decorating so might keep my eye out for some cheap paint. Would love to have it done before christmas but my sitting room is my 1st priority.
On a plus note...i have LOADS of stuff for ebay! Just gonna stick them on at low start price so anything i get will be a bonus especially since if OH did it then it would have all ended up in a bin or a charity bag. I do my bit for charity but at the minute, charity begins at home!Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb
