Did find £10 in a pair of jeans I havent worn in about 6 months this morning though, always a nice surprise so going to add that.

Feel like I'm bleeding money atm so started a spending diary so hopefully can cut spending on unecessary things.

    Real pleased

another £16.33 has hit my account...profit from Amazon. As I said yesterday I thought my month was over so this is good. I also have less than £10 to come in from ebay so I won't count that until it does.

Still haven't listed anything this week. Need to get myself organised. Group kick up the A*** needed folks :):):)

    take care all.

Hard to believe October nearly over .... not long to Christmas now :):):):)

  • Morning all!!

Well, today my plans are to have a "de-clutter" day. I'm finally making a start in my bedroom which is full of junk. However "one womans junk is another womans treasure" and all that malarky so i might try find some stuff to ebay too. Hubby made a remark last night on the state of our bedroom at the minute which has given me the kick up the a*se i need to make a start on it. He threatened to do it himself tonight but i can't allow that because he will just chuck everything in the bin! Lol.

I'm off to Liverpool at the begining of December for my 30th so i need to raise some spending money to be able to do all the "Beatles" stuff :D

Have a nice day everyone! :D

Have just done my daily morning check of online banking, and for the first time in ages, my 'Current Balance' and 'Available Balance' are exactly the same, which means I haven't spent any money for 2-3 days! Woohoo.
Also checked both credit cards to double check I'd cleared them before the weekend as we had some 'spare' money left and it's paydays this week. And they are in fact both cleared! Love seeing £0.00 balances on them. Car insurance due in a couple of weeks though so that will have to go on a card. It's frustrating that there's always something that needs covering with a card, and by the time that's paid off, there will be something else. We just need a few months with nothing extra to pay for so that we can build up the buffer fund again to use for these sorts of expenses and be one ahead, rather than always one behind using credit cards!!

2 parcels packed and ready to pop off to the Post Office in a minute. Will be free from clutter one day...!
Counting Pennies - I think that's the best motivation, I find it's only when my OH threatens to do some decluttering that I really pull my finger out, as even though he is getting better with Ebay lately, there's loads he would just throw away whereas I have the 'we might as well TRY to sell it first' attitude! Good luck :)
