Personally, I think an ATOS rep on board is only going to help show up atos for what it really is.
Personally, I think having an ATOS rep on board providing clear, factual and objective answers can only be a good thing.
  • I can see the value of a company representative who presents accurate and helpful information that is not readily available otherwise (i.e. not just links to other websites). The E On/ Quidco etc representatives are also very helpful at looking into individual complaints. However, when people post about ATOS they are very vulnerable, and the thought of a representative actively monitoring the boards, where someone has come here for impartial support and advice, seems counter productive. I know it would put me off asking for help.

For the record, I don't think ATOS are all bad (though they are far from perfect), I just don't think this is a suitable place for their input.

So just to confirm, your stating ATOS sought out permission to post - ie contacted MSE and asked for permission to put a rep on the forum.

And its all been confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt they are who they say they are (ie checked with ATOS that its not someone spoofing etc?)

    Just need to make sure..
I interpreted as Andrea and the team reviewed company permission requests, had a discussion, made a decision and we now have an ATOS rep for the benefit of many users who raise questions.

Seems fair enough to me and I must say I can't see any reason to doubt the integrity of those making the decisions.

And what makes you think that you'll get any of that from having an Atoss rep on board?

Read #54, it's quite easy to comprehend.

Hope there's no intent to malign with that spelling FT - Atos only has one 's'.

Atoss doesn't do 'clear, factual and objective' (but then, neither do you).

So what is there to comprehend?
