Hello again, well I havent followed your plan today, as unwell, but my daughter came over and helped me, so the sitting room has been tidied up, dust/polished and hoovered, and the kitchen floor was done.
She also hung out one of the washings I had put in. Which reminds me there is another load that I can try to hang out, (if my arm gets that high!).
Loving the weather and been sitting in the garden with my 4mth old granddaughter on the swing. Very nice.
Back to read the beginning of the thread and see what I can put on my todo list for later when/if I am moving better.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Self indulgent post coming up, feel free to skip by.

Been to see diabetic nurse today, good news

    1. I don’t have 13lbs to loose any more, I only have 6lbs to go,
    2. I don’t have to have any more blood tests till end of November, then it is likely it will only be 6 monthly to ‘keep an eye on you’
    3. I don’t have to take metformin any more
    4. As I am still in the ‘at risk’ category, I agreed to and was given a flu jab.

So I am well chuffed, sig changed.

    Washing in off the line

just wondering if any of you ladies would find this cheeky if you were a guest in someone elses house. I cant think of any polite way to put it either so sorry for the bluntness.

friends coming to stay this weekend, both very overweight, concerned spare bed might break. if spare bed breaks it means buying a new bed, but if i put them in my bed and the slats broke then the slats are only like £20 to replace. would you find it odd being given my bed when you know ive got a kingsized spare bed and how would you phrase it if asked why you'd put them in your room rather than the spare room?

    thanks

eta should also say that im overweight and the spare bed is fine when its in single mode, but when expanded to sleep 2 thats when i feel the slats could possibly break. it wouldnt be a problem if i broke the bed, but i would hate for someone else to do so.

I think that I would fraze it that you are giving the guests the "best room", the Master bedroom, and that as long as its tidy, and there are guest towels etc there why would you need to comment on their size or the chance of breaking a bed?
I used to always give my parents my room when they came to stay, and I used the put y up bed.
