Woohoo my sister went into labour last night, BIL rang at 6am to say she was 8cm but was finding it very tough. I'm so excited :j:j:j

Plans have changed for today as BIL needs lifted later from the hospital to go to a different hospital to get his stitches out. MIL will look after the kids later so me and hubby can go visit. :D

Right i best get the dw unloaded and wm...
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Hi, I have not been on any of the Flylady threads for a very long time, but as I sit here looking at the mess around me, I think that I need to try and get some sort of order back!. I have been quite ill so things have piled up.
Although today my daughter is going to come over and give me a couple of hours of her time, and help.
I have the SW coming this afternoon to see DGD and I dont want her to see the state of the bedroom! Toys are everywhere! DGD has a habit of waking up and grabbing the toy boxes onto her bed and tipping them out. Then they end up on the floor.
With my health problems tidying them up again has been difficult and getting a 3 year old to tidy up, when she is being mrs NO, is difficult.
Hope you dont mind me coming back out of the wood work.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

  • Vanilla how exciting Id have ants in my pants waiting to hear when baby finally arrived, knowing its going to be here at some point this morning.

not back at work today, still being sick when eat or drink something so never mind. will potter about and see what I can do. I tried to put the bin out but cant bump it up the step as its so heavy (garden waste) so need to catch my neighbour as he leaves for the school run or speak nicely to the bin men when they come and see if they will bump it up for me as i just cant shift the thing.

list still stands as it was yesterday night. downstairs is presentable with just a hoover and upstairs is still ok.

    Morning all

    another beautiful day in Valliland!

Hugs to Pigger's DS and Minion

and re the KHs - persist, persist, be sweetness and light and eventually they come over to the brightside ;) although, were it medical, I would be pointing out sharply that they need to be adult enough to support their offspring regardless - luckily never been there *touches wood*

Got 2 lots of washing done yesterday and pegged out for them to dry while I was at work so, NOW IT'S THE WEEKEND I'm ahead of myself IYSWIM:D:D:D:D:D:D and I ironed it all last night:D:D:D:D:D:D and I used my PPA time yesterdfay afternoon to prep for next Wednesday's Y5 Lit session:D:D:D:D:D:D which means I won't need to panic first thing Wednesday if I've forgotten:cool: was up at 5:30 too! so I did some marking - eyes are often sore at night making that an arduous task. Now know second neice had shared the gift with first neice - whether they mentioned this when they handed the gift over I don't know but I had had a little drink:o no card from neice 2 though. Did get Mark Radcliffe's book 'Reeling in the Years' (thanks to Amazon wish list;) and anothe Mash DVD for my collection. Also won't be getting a visit from Mum today as they have gone away (again) to Greece.
Have also brought some tea towels (used for art) from work. They have been left in the classroom for about a week, damp. So they hung (dirty) on the line all night because I SO did not need their 'fragrance' in Villa Valli! They will join my towels on a HOT wash.

    Valli's Cunning Plan

    Bathroom
    Kitchen
    Lounge
    Boudoir
    Peg out washing
    Put ironing away
    post e bay
shift recycling (won't be long before I have new bin and it will ALL be picked up from here:T)
Take down Happy Birthday banners and put away safely (HUGE advantage of consecutive birthdays - they go UP and DOWN fewer times):T
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

DD's bedding and bath mat were put in the wash before the school run and the bathroom was cleaned(apart from the floor). Debating whether to go to Mums or not as feeling a bit carp.?!?!?!
