Hey all - havent done much flying today as such, but took advantage of the beautiful weather when I got home from work and cut the grass and tidied the garden, borders, pulled weeds from path etc... Have only done the back so far and then it was teatime.

The good weather is forecast till Sunday apparently, so fingers crossed I get the front done before then... that way, it should all only need a final once-over to be presentable before I hand the keys back.

Kitchen cleaned and swished as per usual
Laundry brought in/taken down and folded
    Two loads done and drying
WM on again to be hung out in the morning.
LO's shirts have been bleached, but still show some weird stain which may or may not be paint...
    downstairs hoovered again
LR glass done including patio windows..

    Cant remember what else!

Love hugs sticks and spoons all round and as required. xx

    Extras
Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.

Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves THIS IS BEING DONE BY THE WEEKEND!!
    wipe doors and handles downstairs

Wednesday - those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see

  • Wendywitch post a photo of the offending window with dimensions (old money or metric, we can manage with either 'cos we're flyladies) and we should be able to say how you can deal with it!

All food scoffed, recycling in correct box for this week - green (or was it blue?) and Minion claims to have done more of her room.

Sitting back down with a cuppa and just remembering that I haven't remade my bed today. Doh!

I need chocolate. Just as well there isn't any in the house. Because there wouldn't be any within about 30 seconds of my knowing about it!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Morning all

Been up since silly o'clock. Have made good use of the time:

    emptied DW
    did some paperwork
    deleted some emails
wiped out the WM after cleaning wash after cat bedding wash yesterday

I need to stay in for some deliveries today so will be cracking on with getting downstairs housework finished and then lots of gardening (if it is not too hot:D)

Have a good day and hope you all get some sunshine
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!!

Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc

Do a D.I.Y. job, fix something you've been putting off forever!! Only small but need to stick DDs name plaque back on her door!

    Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One

Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Level Two

    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    WWipe down tiles in bathroom..o
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
    Level Three
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or are dead!
Clean/wash the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!
    Extras

    1. [STRIKE]Wash your bathroom mats[/STRIKE], nets, clean blind/curtains etc Washed bath mat other day after DD weed on it!
    2. grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!
    3. clean the radiators in these rooms
    4. delete 50 emails

    Also:

    Do some work
    Put away washing
Quick wipe down in kitchen and clear last nights pizza boxes!

Normally do the shopping on a Thursday but given that DD is still dripping with the lurgy I thought it best to avoid the cattle market that is Tescos. Instead I've already ordered everything online with Sainsburys (only time I get to go to S as our one hasn't been built yet) and even with the delivery charge spent a lot less than usual. I only really go round T's cos DD loves sitting in the trolley and waving at everyone!:)

    Have a good day!
