Did a mid week shop tonight at mr mozzies, needed to since I didn't do normal shop on Friday.

But I forgot the painkillers and now the headache I was starting with is really annoying!pah, looks like an early night might be the answer.:o
Tea was a very nice piece of fish from freezer with new pots, peas and parsley sauce.
Taken pork pieces out of freezer for tomorrow and a h/m shepherdess pie for veggie DD2.

:eek:Did a midweek shop today Mr Ts spent £29.67. We're going away for a few days so am taking basics with me and am hoping I don't blow the budget with meals out. Whilst Im away Im going to grab a Pumpkin for Halloween, I have 4 grandchildren coming to mine in their costumes so weather permitting going to scatter a few torches around the garden for spooky effects, have a few games, do a little tea party and then I want a spooky DVD. I dont want to scare them to death though so can anyone suggest a good spooky movie for ages 7 and under? Already got Casper but they have seen it several times. I must also dig out my recipe for pumpkin scones. The were selling them at a school fete last year and were scrummy so I went and spoke to the teacher that made them and she kindly wrote down the recipe, they are lovely warmed and dripping with butter!!:eek::eek::eek:SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

£3.86 spent in Lidl on Saturday - 2 x bags of Hula Hoops on their half price offer, a bag of carrots and a bag of spinach.
I think i'll make soup with the carrots. Not sure about the spinach yet, but will need to do something with it pretty quickly.Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

You could try Softstuffs chickpea curry if you don't mind veggie - it's delicious with spinach stirred in about 5mins before the end.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -

My two children are 5 (today!) and 6, and they love monsters versus aliens the halloween edition. It's about half an hour long, and quite funny. My five year old (boy) gets scared by most things, but he loves this film! HTHGrocery challenge for family of three - me, dd(12) and ds(11), feeding dp 2 or 3 x a week too. Only food, not toiletries. spends of £18.23 today which itsnt too bad considering i managed 2 nsd's over the weekend:j would have been less but picked up some 1/2 price ariel stain remover stuff(the only thing i've found that actually works on getting school shirts passably clean)and a 1/2 price reed diffuser just coz i fancied it lol but it smells lovely.
oh and stocked up on some pots of pear chunks in juice as they were reduced to 20p each so got 20 for lunch boxes fillersthis year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Hi
Could you please put me down for 225, this is for November and my month runs from 19th to 18th.
This is for 2 adults and 1 old fussy cat and includes all food, toiletries, alcohol, cleaning products and eating out. I know it's quite a lot but we have been spending in excess of this recently and I don't want to cut it too much too soon.
