Hi, my september spends were £83.97. I really wanted to come in on budget, but a few things pushed me over slightly. I have to say its a great improvement on last month, so i will take pride in that. Can you put me down for another £80 for October. This will include all my groceries, basically anything you can buy in the supermarket i am going to include alcohol this time. I am determined to not even go 1p over (ermmm we shall see). Good luck everyone and thanks to the forum moderators for all their hard work.0

Morning all,
I managed to spend £15 over the budget for last month but I do have a jam-packed freezer now.
I'm going for £120 this month (28th - 28th for me), I've spent £35 already on cupboard stuff, bulk packs of drinks for lunch and noodles etc. I'm running down the freezer in the first few weeks then I'll start stocking it up with reduced meat in the last week with whatever money I have leftover.

Been to MrA today and bought some clothes but spent £9.04 on milk, coke, cereal bars, cooked meat and maltesers to go in my christmas stocks. Theres only me has the caffiene free diet coke so I am now on Asd@s own which does taste a little strange but I can put up with that as its 54p for 2 litres instead of a bottle of proper CF coke which is 1.78!! I will get used to this much cheaper alternative!!!Helen. Single mum to DD(7) and 2 siamese cats. Trying to decrease my debt and spending and increase my savings and lose weight-30lbs so far!

First shopping spent £50.60! I was shocked it was so much. My budget is £70 per week so this lot will have to last until next Thursday. I would like to have a little left over each week to build up some stores as the fridge was very empty when I went shopping today. Goodness me, it's not easy on a budget!October Grocery Challenge £4000
