I've just made another payment to the T3sc0 card for £82. This was the minimum payment due on the card for this month and was already in the budget, so have made the transfer
.
The online balance is currently showing as £1,161, but this doesn't take account of interest or this latest payment. I'll update my signature once the statement in available.
I've also made another payment to a non-target CC today of £42 which was due.Full LBM 26 Sept 110 -
...and to the bank balance. I've just checked my bank account, and my projected month-end balance is -£1968, so within the OD. I'll need to keep a close eye on this as the month progresses as ideally I don't want to dip into our emergency fund at this early stage.
Ah, I feel better now I've reviewed all my numbers :rotfl:.

Hi Been
Thought I would drop in & say "hello". Very impressed with the way you are attacking that Tesco card. Well done.Pay off £14,000 in 2012 Challenge #21 (incl. mort.) £15,960/£14,0000 -

Quick update to the 'cash' budget. DS needed £2 last night for football practice and I will also need to give him £3 this morning for bus fares, so that takes me 17p into the red :-/ I think I might also need a few extras to go with my packed lunch today too...grrr!Full LBM 26 Sept 110

I was just thinking about my post this morning and actually we've done really well as I've spent on bus fares for DS which can (I hope) be claimed back. I'll need to follow up on this when he's back in school next week
.
Couple of bits of extra income are winging their way to us. We had a small win on the lottery last night - £5, and I also have about £71 of non-budgetted commission due from Av0n
.
So here's the plan...
£30 to emergency fund - done
£10 to tax fund
£10 to stay in the current account
£26 to pay off the dreaded T3sc0 card :T - transfer done
I'm now starting to wonder whether I can get the balance on the CC under £1,000 by the time the statement is due. It would be great to cross that barrier. I've calculated that I need to make additional payments of around £125 to achieve this. I'm hoping that the insurance refund we're due will arrive in time and then I'll be able to make the extra payment. Must keep fingers crossed
.

I've just made a payment of £66.20 to another non-target CC
:), I'm sad for having to pay it at all, but happy I have the money to do so iyswim!
Projected bank balance at end of month is now -£1,955. If this materialises, there'll be an extra payment to the target CC.

So glad it's Friday!!
A few to dos for today:
Check bank
Possibly do some banking if I can get there
Review position of all 'cash' pots
I drew the week's money out of the bank yesterday as I knew I'd need a bit for bus fare for DS this morning.
Other than that, nothing much to report

My cash budgets to date look like this:
Item - Budget - Spent - Balance
Food - 400 - 219.55 - 180.45 = about £45/week for the rest of the month
Transport - 340 - 132.02 - 207.98 - we're going over to the train next week, so there will be one-off larger spends
Clothes - 30 - no spend
'Cash' - 275 - 116 - 159 = £53/week left and I've already drawn the money for this week
I'm happy with this so far, although it's still early days and there's a lot of month left.
Planned spends from the 'cash' budget are:
Pocket money - £10
Birthday lunch next week - up to £10 (will try to keep it less than this)
Various club fees (some are one-offs) - £17
Travel - £6
Total - £43 ...not much left for the rest of the week.
I can do it though, ha ha.

Shameless copy from the small things thread of my MSE to dos
- Check bank
- Make a little overpayment to the CC
- All food from stores
- Lots of HC and ironing
- Some general sorting and cleaning in the bedrooms
I've just checked the online balance on the T3sc0 card and it's showing as £1053, although of course this doesn't include the interest that will be due to go on before the statement date (23rd). I've decided that I NEED to make some sort of payment to this card every day if I can to feel like I'm still moving forward. So today I will make a payment of £1
, at least it will be a £1 that I'll no longer be paying interest on
.
edit - actually make that £1.02 as I found 2p on the street the other day, so will bank this next time I'm in the bank (they have a coin counting machine, which I love lol!)
