not really, I have wasted enough time reading this post this weekend!!!!!! THe title should have been enough, someone else who wants something for nothing.

And, after all, who wants to make an informed comment? It's much more fun to accuse OP of being one of these 'greedy people ruining society with compensation culture'; all while not actually reading what he's saying and then refusing to when it's pointed out you don't even understand whose insurance he's talking about.

You'd think having such a glaring mistake pointed out to you would deter you, but nope - you just sail right past your mistake and still attack him on the same basis.

If you don't agree with what he's asking, then just don't post. Is it that hard to just not reply if you're not even going to make the effort to read his post?

This is what society has become, just like America. "something has happened, whats in it for me"? Perhaps society is now too greedy

i don't know what happened with that mis-quote
    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
  • So, so far nobody can explain my question ??!!!

And since I posted the question, those who have been so quick to judge and and insult in the thread have either been posted suspiciously silent or chose to ignore the question, take the huff and say they won't be back. Funny that, eh ?

I posted this thread cause I wanted to ask a question to, what I thought would be, smart, knowledgeable, reasonable people who could look at an arguement from both sides. What I've found was a forum full of misinformed know-it-alls who after failing to grasp the exact scenario, resort to name-calling and badgering. I'm sure most of you have managed to lose a lot of people money with your mis-information on this forum.

DWatts, thanks for taking the time to try to understand the exact scenario.

  • We understand the thread - you just don't like the answers.

You have not suffered any financial hardship, ergo you should not receive any compensation.

The fact that you managed to possibly negotiate a discount for the insurance company should help you sleep better that day for doing a good deed but it should hardly line your pockets!
    Thinking critically since 1996....

Guess someone better call InjuryLawyers4U and tell them to stop running their commercials.

That would be a great start. Where do I vote?
