No i don't, nor did I say I was worried about their financial standing.

I just don't see how the size of their organisation in anyway affects you and what you should receive. Whether they are a one-man band or a worldwide corporation your entitlement is the same -- window repaired.

You seem to think your owed more and the fact they will have lots of cash seems to be your justification for it.

Some perspective is what you need, not pots of cash.

After all this time, you still don't get it.

Forget the window was broken, I dont have a problem with that and don't want compensation !!!

Lets say the cost was paid in full by the insurance to make it easier. The glazing company then failed to show at the right time and after discussion decided to refund the cost of the boarding for the inconvenience caused. Fact !!!

Now, explain to me why the insurance company should receive the refund for the inconvenience caused. When the insurance company where not inconconvenieced by the failure to show.
  • Don't be daft. There's a big difference between boarding up or reglazing a window with a few tacks and some putty and redoing a car windscreen, how on earth you came up with that comparison is beyond me, where is the rolly eye emoticon when you need it.[/QUOTE]

Haha. Unbelievable. King of the understatements !!!

    You're weren't in the A-Team were you ?

Because I am guessing your insurance policy does not insure you for "inconvenience"

Did you see the invoice of charges? How do you know that the glazing company even charged the insurance company/council for the boarding?

You bang on about this fee which you should get refunded (which it shouldn't and won't) assuming that the glazing company charged for it in the first place.

This country is going to the dogs with all this compensation !!!!!!!!.
  • When the glazing company called you at 5 o'clock to say that they wouldn't be boarding your window that night, why didn't you call an alternative emergency glazing firm?
