Sorry what do you mean jailbreak?

Google it mate....its a hack that means you get all your apps for free via a programme called cydia...a.ll highly illegal of course and not condoned in anyway!
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.

Google are busy re-encoding all the youtube content into a format not viewable on iPad.
YouTube still works fine for me, both the app and the website.

The survey sites etc won't work unless you jailbreak it, if they use flash.

Jailbreaking probably isn't illegal in the UK. And don't worry, Apple will not choose you for its test case.

Having looked in the argos, the ipads main rival the samsung galaxy may be a better option for me has it allows adobe flash.
The thing is i want/need something that does what i require, and that looks more likely than the ipad 2.
However i will check everything out before comitting, but currently id say im more likely to get that than the ipad, just on that principal alone.

Well i did eventually get the 64gb ipad 2!. I 'played' with one off someone i know and found it great.
The only thing i think is a bit silly, is having to connect it to a computer to set it up!. You dont need too the ipod touch, so why the ipad.
Anyway i think its a great piece of equipment, and i will use it for more than just the internet, all my music will be on there, and i will put my fave films on!

That should be the last time you have to connect it to a computer though, assuming you have iOS 5, as any future updates can be done on the iPad itself and if you want to back it up then you can sync it wirelessly.

I agree though, it's a bit silly to have to connect it to a computer to set it up, but that's a thing of the past now :j

Flash is a pretty important aspect of internet browsing, whether we like it or not. I wish apple would man the ef up and incorporate it into their products. Rage level - rising.

Why are they doing this? To purposely shaft Apple product users?
