Hi there, im thinking of getting one of these, but one of the downsides is not been able to use flash player, and im concerned that it would be a waste of money, even though i think there a good system.
Does anyone here have one, and can you use any alternatives for this as id really like one since my lappy has gone bang, but then i want it for my needs, many thanks.:beer:

If u must have Flash on iPad check out 'Frash' - Google it and see it in use on Youtube.0

I've got an iPad 2, and have only ever notice the lack of flash on the BBC News website - the videos don't work. But there is a free BBC News app so if I ever do want to watch any of the videos I can just use that.
Since getting the iPad, I've only used my computer to sync the iPad.0 -

Thanks for that, i do surveys like i say and several times they need flash so was concerned about that, and also things like bingo sites that use flash.

The only times I have noticed the lack of flash are on some video sites that haven't re-encoded their videos, survey sites (as you mention) and the national lottery. You can still play the lottery online, but the instant win things are in flash.0

Google are busy re-encoding all the youtube content into a format not viewable on iPad. You could always do what every iPad owner I know has done, that is to jailbreak it. It can easily be restored back to factory settings and a jailbroken Ipad can run flashNever Knowingly Understood.
