    (((((tiredmum and notjustlaura))))))

I am gobsmacked that I am awake and functioning at this time considering the amount of wine I drank last night! :rotfl:. We had a really good night out. It was army man's leaving do. We went to local old man pub first off for a few games of pool and drinks, then headed to town to the proper pubs. I was the only girl out with 10 men! After drinks we went for a curry. Then everyone left. Army man walked me home and we had an emotional goodbye! I shall miss him.

My colleague is going to pick me up shortly so I can get my car and he can pick up the stuff he left in my boot. But I can't see today being very productive :rotfl:. Think it'll be a curl up on sofa with DVD and a book day.

OS wise - WM will go on with towels shortly, DW will go on tonight, need to sort laundry pile.

    Have a good day all

  • Morning all you early birds:D

Well I got up early this morning and went to the next sale, got a few bargains as dd1 is going on a residential trip in a couple of weeks. Picked her some jeans, fleece top, long sleeved tops etc to keep her warm.
Both girls have a cough atm as well so they're up at the crack of dawn coughing.
Off out round a friends for tea tonight, really looking forward to it plus she's a fab cook.

Not much else planned apart from washing to be done and I want to make a start on painting the wooden unit in the utilty, colour washing it blue.

Hope everyone else has a good day & enjoys the weekend:T

Bless you Beth x Hope the medicines work quickly. How about making some home-made soups - chicken or vegetables? I eat a lot of soup when feeling poorly.
Laura - I also experience quite extreme mood swings and agree that focussing on routines helps me keep on the straight and narrow. Also eating regularly x
Tired Mum - good luck to your DD:T
    Bitsy - Hugs x

My early morning energy has slumped for a few minutes so enjoying browsing the internet. Doggies walked and yet more washing. Gosh my life is so exciting some days (not) !!

    My tummmy is killing meeeee!

Probably due to the late pizza and curly fries OH decided to make for dins dins after the pub last night....

I am going to a 'music festival' today. It's only from 12-6 and to support http://www.campmohawk.org.uk/ If any one is local you should come along. It's for a good cause!
So my plans of sorting the house out are slipping away....I'll try and get a few bits done after my shower as the sun is shining so could get some washing on the line.. Then tomorrow i will have to sort the place out.

Have a lovely day all x

  • Betheebee, i hope the meds start working and that you feel better soon.
Tired Mum, i would be feeling exactly the same as you. It's hard to let go but it has to be done to let them find their own way.
Jackie O, good luck to Henry.
Redruby, DD has had a tough few days. Her eyebrows all fell out again Wednesday. Some of the year 7's at school keep saying is she a boy or is she a girl. Not much happening with the growth of the eyelashes at the moment either. She still has hair but several bald patches, so she has her hair very very short. Although she has a wig, she won't wear it because she says she looks stupid and that it makes her head itch. I have to agree with her on the itching, that's why i don't wear mine. Other DD and i shaved our hair off when DD wanted hers shaved. She seems to be a bit better now and has decided to try and grow her hair.
Hope everyone has a good day

Beth (((((Hugs))))) Duodenal Ulcers are not nice x

Have been busy all morning - 2 lines of washing done and another on the line. DH has replaced the cooker box because the switch decided it wasn't going to work anymore, and found that the inside had cracked so I have a nice shiny new one :D
He is now putting a new blind up in the kitchen. Then he is going to cut the grass.

Redruby I am looking forward to Doctor Who but the X factor and shows like it make me go cold.
On a bright note Merlin is back next Saturday :D and Downton Abbey on Sundays :j
Well I had better get a wiggle on
Have a good Saturday everyone x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

  • Good morning all and ((hugs)) to all those in need

I'm sooo tired this morning - I think I overdid the housework yesterday (although it's nice to have a clean house for once) and DD2 treated me to a very early start (she's nice like that) so I'm feeling groggy and in need of more caffeine this morning.

My new fridge/freezer is due to come today, but the C*rrys website says not until "3.15-7.15pm" so I have a few hours yet. It's a pain as I could do with having it now - the old one has not been working at all well and I am worried that even more of my stuff will have defrosted by the time they get here! I'm going to be cooking a heck of a lot of semi-defrosted meat and fish this weekend as it is!

Dinner this evening will be whatever needs eating most urgently from the freezer!

    Have good days all

Quick visit here this morning to make sure you are all working hard.
    :D
Gorgeous weather here and I am chained to my computer for the forseeable future, trying to get magazine finished and other paperwork done before I go on holiday next Saturday.
Also have a lot of cooking to do for a lovely lady's funeral on Tuesday.

Beth: Glad that you at least know what you are dealing with, hope the meds kick in quickly and you begin to feel a tad better.

To everyone else - keep up the good work and enjoy your weekend.
