Morning all
Looks like it is going to be a nice day today, not sure what we are going to be doing today, DH is talking about going fishing and asked me and DS to come along with him, Not too sure if to or not as I was hoping to get the last of the de-cluttering done today so I can start afresh on Monday with my daily routine.
Yesterday was a very productive day, managed to totally empty and clean the spare room, clean out the kitchen food cupboard, listed lots of toys, book and clothes on Freecycle & got 4 loads of washing done, also decided to do the Christmas cake this weekend so got the fruit soaking in brandy.
Today if I don't go with DH I plan to sort the living room and kitchen out also need to tackle the cupboard under the stairs so I can actually walk in it! at one time the only things I kept in there was the ironing board and the hoover, now its just become a dumping ground for anything and everything!
WM will be going on shortly as it looks like it is going to be a nice day
Vegetable pasta bake for tea..Never made it before, the recipe is from a label on a tin of soup..Looking forward to it though as I like Pasta bakes....Think I might make a fruit crumble too! to eat whilst watching X factor tonight
Hope everyone has a lovely day... xOctober grocery Challenge

Morning all,
Bright and beautiful morning here, lay in bed for a while this morning drinking tea and reading my book, I am reading the story of the man stuck in a paris airport for 18 years, fascinating read :T.
Today we need to paint another coat in the bathroom, and get the door hung and paint some anti mould stuff on the grout, I dont know how I bear the excitement in my life at times
Dinner tonight is pizza and salad, in front of Dr Who and X factor :T.
One load in the wm and another to go in, dw needs emptying and the kitchen wants a quick swipe.
Has anyone used those vacuum storage bags (the ones for clothes bedding etc) from the £1 shop ?? was going to get some online but they were £8 odd, checked the £1 shop online and saw that they do them, I just wondered if they were decent ??
Beth, hope you are ok xxxx
Tired mum, oh poor you I really feel for you, hope all goes well for your dd xx

Morning everyone,
Hugs to Laura and Tired mum and Good luck to Henry.
Beth thinking of you.
Kimsmum enjoy the time with your son.
Had a lovely, cheap night out at the dogs last night, pie and peas, a drink, and 2 free bets for £10! It was really good fun although I don't think that I will make a fortune by choosing the dogs with the prettiest names.:D
Today I am going to the supermarket with DD1. She is 14 tomorrow and is having a few friends round for a barbecue tomorrow lunchtime. Fingers crossed for the weather although OH is putting up a tent so they can shelter if it starts to rain.
It is really quiet here. OH is out on his bike and all the children are still in bed. I am enjoying a peaceful cup of tea.
Tea tonight will probably be pot luck from the freezer.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -

Morning all
Having trouble keeping up with the thread at the mo. Went out last night to see my colleague who's retiring, worked out I've worked with her for 9 years and known her since 1994. I remember her teaching me how to shave a patient when I was a student nurse. Still love doing that.
LAURA and TIRED MUM hugs for both of you, hope all works out well for you today.
Have got work for the next 3 nights, 2 normal shifts and 1 agency. Job hunting is carrying on, no interviews yet but I'm being positive. Weight loss is going well and have lost 7lbs :j. Will have a look on the WW site in a mo for some inspiration for dinner. Really fancy roast beef but as DS will be at his Dad's seems a bit indulgent for just me! Also need to get some sleep as my neighbours son and his mates kept both of us awake last night, was not impressed and let them know .
Right off to hang the washing out. Have a good day all and big hugs to those who need one.

Morning all,
Been up half the night spending more time in the bathroom than in bed, think I might just put a duvet in the bath and be done with it. The Dr received the results from one of the biopies, it revealed that I have Helicobacter Pylori Bacterium which has caused the Duodenal to ulcerate, he scared the living daylights out of me by saying that if it bursts it would break the wall of the stomach and that would be fatal. He has put me on 3 lots of meds, and told me I must NOT drink any alchohol. Bug*er. That's why I feel full up and bloated after eating 3 or 4 ozs of food. Received an app yesterday from the hosp to have more tests done on 21st Oct to see if the meds have worked. So that's it in a nutshell.
DH woke up y/day with a swollen ankle and was in a lot of pain, it's even worse today so I'll take him to the local hosp and get it checked out.
OS wise the BM & WM is on, I must catch up with vacuming and dusting as this week I've done diddly squat. Just not felt up to doing much. Will cook DH a mixed grill for his dinner, his favorite. He's got hm soup for lunch. Me ? I think I'll be living on hard boiled eggs. Just might do the trick.
Off to catch up. ((((( hugs)))) to all.0 -
Morning everyone,
Up early to watch the rugby. Snuggled up in bed with a huge pot of coffee is a great place to watch it. Just loaded the washing machine before the next game.
Loads to do today: working, laundry, make bread, soup into the crockpot, macaroni cheese for dinner I think, and sort the kitchen out together with the recycling.
Not sure if I have a cold lurking or am just feeling under the weather.
Have a great day!
