  • Well this week's been a better one weigh-in wise - I've lost 1.5lb this week, making my first stone... I had a chat with DH earlier and persuaded him that he could do with losing a little weight too. It was the hardest conversation I think I've EVER had with anyone in my life!
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP
(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)

Well done on your weight loss:T
So is your DH on board too?

As for me... my weight has not changed at all:o
    Must try harder.

He's not entirely on board, but he knows he needs to do something about it. There's never a gentle way to tell someone that you love that they ought to lose weight for the sake of their own health and so that you can have kids :(

I need to tell my DH we need to BD more often. I think once a week, a day after ov may not cut it:o
I'm getting on a bit, so may have to ask him to use c i a l i s or something like that, just for few days around ov (my fertility doctor offered to prescribe it for DH).
  • It is a tricky one, isn't it? You never know if the man will take it personally.... Good luck x

Thanks, finding the right time to tell him is the key I think:o

Hi - I would love to join you all. I need to lose loads of weight !!

In the last 3 weeks I have lost 10lb and found it really easy. I stick to 1200 calories a day and surprisingly I often dont have them all. I have a food diary on myfitnesspal its great, I am aiming for 2lb a week so by Christmas total loss should be 36lb.

I have tried WW, SW, CD, Diet Chef, this sticking to 1200 calories is so easy wish I had tried it a long time ago...

sounds like you are doing well. What's the diet chef like? are the meals OK? are you doing the diet chef now?
  • I thought she'd tell me to put off trying until I was slimmer but she said at my age I shouldn't put it off for that reason.

    Hi Lily

I hope I'm not being rude but what is your age? I'm concerned I might be leaving it too late.........
I am employed as a manager in a financial services institution. My views are entirely my own.
  • Hi folks, I'd love to join in, please.

I have in total about 5 stone to lose :( but am aiming for a stone by Christmas to start me off.

I'm not TTC just yet, got a big holiday booked toward the back end of next year, so it will be after that, but I want to be in bst possible shape for then.

My BMI is (very embarrassed here) 34.

I look forward to being less of me soon!

    Welcome GlamGirlie:wave:

What kind of diet are you doing?
I'm doing an Atkins like one (cutting carbs as much as possible).

Not eating much this Christmas will be a hard one:o

As for age to TTC, so long as you still have AF there's always hope. Anything before 50 is perfect in my book:cool:
