Well done Lily!
So what sorts of meals is everyone eating? I'm always on the look out for new ideas - I can't eat the same thing over and over (whereas OH could eat plain chicken breast and salad with chilli sauce until the end of time) and get fed up with bland food."No society can surely be flourishing and happy of which by far the greater part of the numbers are poor and miserable"Adam Smith6/300 -

I'm on weight watchers so I'm tending to have fruit for breakfast. Or toast with jam. Or a croissant. Lunches tend to be either jacket potato with beans if I'm out in the evening (weigh in day and zumba day) or soup. Evenings I'll have whatever DH is having but as a smaller portion and with salad instead of chips. I've discovered butternut squash as an alternative to potato (one has points, the other hasn't). Made a lovely chilli the other night bulked out with loads of veg.
I'm probably not helping much, am I??? Technically I shouldn't be losing weight! Since I started my diet, I've had takeaway pizza hut, a three course meal at Cafe Rouge, a meal at Giraffe and some of my nephew's birthday cake!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Hello ladies,
I hope you are all well.
I'm a bit fed up of late with my weight. I am very overweight and very unhappy about it. In addition I'm trying to conceive but not ovulating and my weight is clearly a factor in this.
So there are many, many reasons for me to lose weight and I do want to lose weight. I know I can but I can't - yes I appreciate that sounds daft.
I have done diets in the past - mainly WW - and have done well for a while before going back to my normal unhealthy eating habits. But I would say for the past year I can't seem to stick to anything. I might stick to a diet for a few weeks but then I give up again.
I know I need to change my lifestyle and not go on a quick fix diet but I just can't seem to do it. I also don't really understand why I can't. As I said I have huge motivators but I......I dunno.
I've always gone back to WW (as it's what I know) but I'm starting to wonder if I should try something else. I don't want to follow a silly diet so I was wondering whether something like Slimming World would be a good idea. I've never done SW and other than knowing there's a red day and a green day I don't really know anything about it. Anyone doing SW who'd be able to give me a bit of an overview?0 -

As far as I understand it, they've revamped SW recently - no more green & red days.
Out of interest, when you last did WW was it points or pro points?Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Pro points - which I think is a great improvement to the plan0 -
Hi ladies, I am still with you but forgot to weigh myself yesterday (just as well as was not very good last week) and AF has come today so think I'll put it off until next week now.0

I know that and if it was any of you, I'd be saying the same BUT this is the first week I've not had ANY alcohol! So I tried really hard this week and I was sure I'd lost more...Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0
