    Never thought of making a food diary, do you do it on your PC or mobile? (Or both?).

    Before I started WW I used to track my food intake on foodfocus (link in OP). It's a free website, but you do need to register.

  • Hi - I would love to join you all. I need to lose loads of weight !!

    In the last 3 weeks I have lost 10lb and found it really easy. I stick to 1200 calories a day and surprisingly I often dont have them all. I have a food diary on myfitnesspal its great, I am aiming for 2lb a week so by Christmas total loss should be 36lb.

    I have tried WW, SW, CD, Diet Chef, this sticking to 1200 calories is so easy wish I had tried it a long time ago...
  • Thats a brilliant weight loss for 3 weeks ForumFan well done.

    I am having a rubbish week so far, I don't normally eat out much but I have eaten out for the last 4 days in a row. Dreading weigh in on Wednesday.

    I've eaten doritos by mistake:(

    At WW last week, a woman was saying that during the week she'd fancied a snickers bar (7 points) but thought "I'll be good" and had a weight watchers mini victoria sponge instead (3 points). Only that didn't hit the spot, so she had another. Still didn't do it, so she had the snickers as well. :rotfl: My point (in a long winded way) is that you shouldn't deprive yourself of 'stuff', rather control the amount that you have :o

    Lily, 9.5lbs by Christmas? Good luck:cool:

    Thanks, will have to try to not to put it all back on again on Christmas Day! :eek::rotfl:
    Lily_the_legend - 9.5lb by christmas is a good target. The last thing you want is to set yourself a target you don't think you'll meet as otherwise you'll think to yourself "I didn't meet that target so what's the point in carrying on?". At least that's how I'd think..........

    Exactly, if I post how much I really need to lose I'd give up. :o

    That's cracked me up! :T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Well I've been trying to be a bit more conscious of what I eat since Saturday morning. We did some walking at the weekend too. :j

    DH has got some batteries for the Wii Fit board, so might do some Wiiing this week. :D

    Both. I have the app on my phone and its easy to use, but the computer one is easier to read. I used to use Food Focus but I find MyFitnessPal has a much bigger food database, especially for UK rather than US foods, so it's easier to log. It's free too and I just like the updates everyone posts so you can see how your friends are getting on.

    My username on there is the same as my main account on MSE, so if anyone would like to be my friend, please PM me and I'll happily add you, but I'd rather not shout about the fact me and DH are TTC and I'm a pretty frequent poster on here (granted mostly on my own diary but a lot of lovely ladies follow it and some are TTC more openly than me).
