Debt collector letters (not knocking on your door) are as shown in the top sticky threads. The letter-chains are on there in their technicolour glory!

Phone calls are rare but if you get them tell the debt collector that the alleged debt is denied and to stop harassing you immediately. They then must pass the case back to PE who will do nothing, maybe a nother letter or two. That's it, end of scam (no effect on credit rating).

Newbies please refer to the top sticky threads by Crabman and watch the Watchdog link.

  • I had a letter from parking eye today with photos of my car entering and leaving a car park on fistral beach, it is a pay and display car park which i purchased a ticket which i still have in my possession, as i have 2 small children it took me longer than the 1hr i purchased to get them in and out of the car after our little walk on the beach 31 mins to be exact, they state i entered at 15.26 then i purchased a ticket with the time at 15.40 then departed at 16.58. The car park is fixed fee which i didn't have correct change for so i over paid any way, do i just ignore this fine of £90 please help me out.

None of the detail is relevant. None of it.

Ignore this fake PCN, it is a scam. Read the sticky threads at the top:

You paid, simply ignore them! Its a speculative invoice they are hoping you are one of the unknowing or gullible who pay.

Luckily you now know you simply ignore them and their silly letter chain.
