based on that promo poster i would assume you coudl choose NAY frozen products for £10.

I didn't! I kept a look out for this poster, yesterday - while they are ambiguities with the poster. That is, it would have been better if it had said 'these' products, but conversely it didn't say these are for 'illustration purposes only'.
The clincher, was the comment relating to availability - that some products may only be at all store.

There are four large Tesco stores in my area and I seem to get the same level of terrible customer care at whichever store I go to

I wonder what the common factor is in all those scenarios...
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.
  • We've had a separate issue with the "5p off per litre" coupons.

When receiving our weekly internet delivery, the 5p off coupon(s) stapled to the back of the receipt have either expired on the day of the delivery or very shortly afterwards.

Obviously I like to empty the tank before refilling using the coupons, and this can take up to a couple of weeks depending on what we're doing. Ringing the store to complain was fruitless; but the next time I filled up, I took the coupons anyway and presented them, explaining what had happened. The staff in the petrol station said that there had been a lot of instances of this, and that they would accept them.

    So it's always worth asking.

    Best Regards,

    ZG.

It would seem the poor level of training provided by Tesco.
