  • Lol, I'm expecting my first in 5 weeks, a boy and becoming pregnant was what made me sort out my debt issues, I am now out of my overdraft for the first time in forever! I have 2 interest free cc and a loan but awaiting on a ppi claim, I also have a lovey boyfriend who is very supportive and doesn't believe in spending what you haven't got!! Pregnancy really makes you wake up and deal with things plus I have saved a fortune not going out drinking and not smoking!!
Pregnant and committed to becoming debt free!!
  • Well done and congratulations!!! Funny what it takes to sort us out!!!

Hope everything goes smoothly on the birth day!

  • No i haven't really thought of a debt free date as i am waiting to see if i get ppi back on a lloyds tsb loan so that would pay some off that or my cc and as i am still paying ppi on it, then that would also save me £40 a month. I have 2 credit cards and they are interest free so i pay minimum on them but i dont know what i will need to live on when im on maternity pay - i know i have enough to cover bills and rent but any extra i will use to keep me out of my overdraft. My main aim is to be back at work after 4/5 months off with no additional debt which is looking very likely at the moment.
