  • Well, these are a massive improvement on the boys names in the last thread on the subject!

Joseph is my favourite. Oliver is my least favourite. Also not keen on William personally, but I don't think badly of any of those names on the list. I love Joshua, but it is overused so wouldn't go for it for that reason.
  • Joshua, it is a gorgeous name! I wish my husband had liked it as much as I did!

A lovely list of names, with the exception of Benjamin, I love them all!

I voted Oliver, thats my middle nephew's name. (He's known as Ollie) I love the name Daniel but unfortunately it was the name of my beloved ex-fiance :( Benjamin is nice too - I think it sounds really classy. (It's also rugby boy's little brother's name :D)

  • I haven't voted found it too hard to pick my two boys are called Joseph and Joshua !

Joseph took his name from my dad who it turn took it from his dad and he just suited it after he was born after initially being called Jack and I'm so glad I changed my mind !

I'm pregnant again with my third boy and this one is to be called Rhys I absolutely love Daniel but OH detests it so we've settled on Rhys instead. I like them all but there are loads of Ollies around here and also my Joshua gets a bit confused when he hears other people call his name and he ain't got a clue who they are (they are clearly calling their own Joshua) but he always says "mummy that man/lady is shouting for me".

:DExpecting the arrival of our baby boy 28/01/12:D
  • Joshua is my 8 month old's name, so obviously that is my favourite :D

I really liked Benjamin too, but OH wouldn't have it as my ex's name was Ben.

Not so keen on William or Oliver.

Boy's names are hard, and all the best one's are over used thesedays.

My SIL wanted a boys name that could not be shortened so she chose Adam and now he gets called ad addy or addams:rotfl: then she chose daniel for her other son and now he gets called dan danny dt (daniel thomas) so she gives up:rotfl:

Benjamin the little lad around here is called that and is called ben.

Oliver will be ollie or olls.

Joshua is josh or joshy (next door neighbours boy is called Joshua but they all call him joshy)

William will be bill or billy.
