I haven't bought Cadbury products since Kraft reneged on their promise to the existing workforce and transferred production abroad.
Names such as Cadbury and Terrys are quintessentially British and have a special place.
To the British Cadbury used to mean tradition and quality and also evoked the good works of its social reformist and philanthropic founder, John Cadbury.

Not some anonymous el cheapo factory producing gloop in Poland.
At least with Tesco Ecuadorian as recommended by me,you are getting a good quality, good value product which has social and economic benefits for the producers and let me say,one square will not be enough...!Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
I buy Cadbury pretty regularly, and I have noticed no change at all in the taste.
For the most part, [STRIKE]idiots[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Daily Mail readers[/STRIKE] people who have a problem with the production having be switched to Poland are just imagining a change in flavour, because they're so gung-ho "Rule Britania" that they'll believe anything. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
Hi
Recently I've noticed that Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel tastes completely different!
I was wondering if its just me and my taste buds have gone a bit strangeor if anyone else has noticed this?
Somehow it tastes more artificial/ more chemically than it used too.
I swear I've gone mad! LOL;)
I have noticed a change in a number of products and thought it was just my taste buds (getting on a bit lol). I noticed in the Caramac bar (I don't know if this is a cadbury product) but I remember when I was younger it tasted much more creamier and not as sweet...shrewdal0 -
I believe there were issues in calling Cadburys "Chocolate" on the continent a few years ago, as it did not contain enough of the correct ingredients.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

If you think Cadburys is poor you want to try Hersheys.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

I would rather have Hotel Chocolate or go to Selfridges and buy a mix of decent chocolate.
I prefer quality over quantity.
Cadbury's is 70+% milk and sugar. The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0 -
I've never really liked Cadbury's, would always have Galaxy over Dairy Milk. Dairy Milk always tasted cheaper than Galaxy, not as creamy.
Anyway, it was noticed the other day that there are no longer Galaxy Truffles in Celebrations. They have been replaced by Twix which is an absolute outrage. I expect Twix are a lot cheaper to produce than Galaxy Truffles. I would rather pay more and keep the truffles. There is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro.....0 -
If you want decent chocolate go to Lidl !
J.D. Gross Single Estate Dark Chocolate, several varieties of different "strengths" - all of them great...................
Cadbury's is muck !0 -
Those chocolates produced on the continent taste different and that is probably due to varying milk/water tastes. In particular Cadburys Mini Eggs taste vile now, really bitter. Once they were hard to put down, now you can't finish a bag.
I think Dairy Milk is still made in the UK, but some products like Miniature Heroes were outsourced and again they taste bitter and horrible. If Cadburys claim the taste hasn't changed, they are talking !!!! because the outsourced stuff IS different.0
