  • I thought that the Twirl I had recently had changed in taste, like it had more "flavouring" vanilla or whatever. I wasn't too impressed, but it had been a while so just thought my tastes had changed. I must get some Dairy milk to try soon - in the name of science you understand...:D

    It's only a game

I have trained myself to quite like green and blacks but still prefer cadburys although cant have it much now but although not quite the same it hasn't changed in flavour that much, whereas the American chocolate is vile and gritty and the Cadburys they sell over there is also not very nice.
  • Green & Blacks will probably have it's recipe tweaked next so that won't be worth buying either, after all Kraft got hold of G&B as part of the deal when they purchased Cadbury.
  • I've never forgiven Cadbury for withdrawing Tiffin bars from the shelves. Sick of paying over the odds for that on ebay!! Although I imagine it's a good money spinning opportunity for money savers in Ireland :)

We now only buy Green and Blacks or Lindt; feels more like a luxury.

Does anything taste the same ??? :)
I buy Tesco 85% Dark Ecuadorian Chocolate!
  • i think it's changed, my last double decker was dissapointing, also most of cadbury chocolate bars have shrunk (other brands too, now i think of it) and at nearly 70p a single bar, i'd rather treat myself to some yummy green and blacks :D

I dont like Caburys anymore either, it doesnt taste right. I eat Green & Blacks instead now. Its more expensive, which means i eat less. So i keep my £'s, but lose some lbs!

still owned by kraft though which owns cadbury, im surprised kraft havent changed anything to do with green and blacks
  • Good old Kraft makes plastic cheese and now sadly doing same with chocolate. A great British company going down the pan. I know longer buy Cadburys I found the ingredients has changed sadly to the detriment of the product.
  • Green and Blacks tastes burnt to me - not good quality sugar or something in it. Lindt is good. Cadburys is simply, painfully far too sweet!
  • I used to love Cadburys because it was not too sweet. Now it has that tooth-aching sweetness that cheap chocolate has IYKWIM. I don't really like the Green and Blacks and will try the Tesco Ecquadorian.
