I'm quite happy once ever couple of days but my wife to be is insatiable. At least once a day if it was up to her and she gets upset if i'm not in the mood. (Mainly as so unfit it knackers me out!!) I even said no i have a headache last week
In many ways we are gender role reversed!0 -
It really doesn't matter how often other people do it, it's what works for you as a couple.
Tbh looking and getting annoyed about either other people doing it more often than you, or thinking woohoo! we're much better than most other people, isn't the main thing to be worried about, or even a healthy thing.
Sorry to be boring.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
I am so jealous of some of you. I get it 1-2 times a month.
DH has a very low libido..
I would like to have it at least 3-4 times a week.
Costs me a fortune in batteries to be honest.... lol0 -
Everyone is different. So someone may say, he needs sex once a week while the other mght say once or twice a week etc.
But someone who does not get enought from home might look for available alternative elsewhere ...0 -

I agree with this.
People's circumstances are all different. the important thing is to have a relationship that functions satisfyingly and healthily for ut you. seven times a week might be seven times but only five to ten minutes a time, other peoples three times a week might be an hour a time, or a whole evening's passion. three times a week might be all on a sunday, and less satisfying for some than twice a week, a few days apart!
I also think some people underestimate and other's exaggerate and on no subject more so than this.0 -
I'm not sure I would trust Ebay either, but there are quite a few reputable websites that sell the well known brands of condoms for about half the price of Tesco. Type "condoms" into Google and you will find them quite easily.0

I can't answer that one, I don't often time how long we are at it.:p
Not to the nearest hour anyway.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
I think we should all be wary of films and TV where people are at it all the time.
We're in our late 50s and have been together 10 years. Sometimes we go for weeks without and then pick up again. We're probably once or twice a week when we're in a 'good' phase, much less if we're tired, busy or if I 'hate' him for any reason lol.
We're both OK with this. It's the ups and downs (no pun intended) of a long term relationship. His Mum is ill at the moment and it's looking quite serious, so will then mean more, or less? I honestly don't know.

If he's only getting it once a week - sounds like he is well prepared already for married life.
At least it won't be a surprise.:rotfl:
This proves the points i made on the thread "Getting married and the sex life isnt great.
See what i mean about society being more comfortable with assuming that its the woman who doesnt want sex and not the man.
See how its ok to make jokes about when the woman doesnt want it but when the subject is broached about men not wanting it as i did on that other thread. (and i did it without turning it into a joke) me and another poster got accused of taking over the thread.
This "joke" by techspec is done to permeate the myth that women dont like sex very much and therefore must "lie back and think of England" therefore its ok when the man doesnt want sex and withholds intimacy because women dont like it anyway right???!!!
I rest my case.0
