    Thanks for the quick reply.

I thought it may a winner as it is *similar* to the chocolate orange offer....in the sense it was a multi-buy mixup?

I really wish i had of purchesed it as would of cost me £99 for a dyson in the end would of been a bargin.:o

no, i dont think they can bar you for this reason really.. or shouldnt anyway.. i have done quite a few DTDs (well, 3) in my local store, but it has always been the same woman on CS... if i spot anything that i would get a DTD on, i always hope that it is a different woman... if its not, i ask myself, 'is it worth it?' - usually its only for a couple of quid off an item that i dont paticularly want in the forst plce, so ill leave it... and save myself for a good DTD...... the hoover sounds like a great DTD and id give it a go... they can only say No i suppose.... oh no, wait, they cant do that either.. lol. x

it is usually better to buy with other items, but ive done items on their own before... just make sure to take someone with you and if they ask, 'why didnt you notice the price when you paid?' - just say, 'my OH paid and i didnt realise what the price went through at till afterwards when he/she gave me the reciept'

or say that you wasnt sure if you had seen the wrong price as you had looked at sooo many hoovers that day... but you have just been to check and it is definatley an overcharge... hehe!!

they shouldnt ask anyway... i got asked once 'didnt you notice the huge price difference when you paid??!!!' - i just replied with a simple 'No'.... lol. x

Tesco do not need to have an excuse to ban anyone from their stores. They have in the past banned people for abuse of R&R and DTD. Someone wrote on the boards recently that someone got banned for clearing the rails in the £1 Clothes Sale.

Probably best not to do too many big ones in your local or you could make life difficult for yourself:o

Just bought some craft sets (friendship bracelet making things). Marked up as half price (£1) with an OOD SEL, so scanned at £2.
    Nice and free.

100% Correct.... they own the land and can bar you for no reason at all. It is their property and they can, if they wish pick and chose who goes on to their land.
