    Hi Everyone
Not sure where to post this - so please bearwith. I have bought the Thomas Pans - relly pleased with them but I have collected or been given 35 extra tokens. I'd be happy to send them out to anyone who may needs them. You would need to PM me with and address and say how many you want.

    Thanks

Just picked up 3 Philips Music centres for £49 each (I-Pod docking, CD player, USB MP3, 20W RMS Total output power). SEL price was £110 or so in my local Tesco (W1shaw). Checked C0atbridge and Bellsh1ll also on the off chance, but they had none in.

Item is as below. Well chuffed at that, that takes care of 3 decent Christmas pressies.

Just had an awful experience in Tesco (surprise surprise!).

Had grabbed my mom a bargain top for 4p but had to go to customer services to return something.
Horrible trout women saw the 4p top and barked how i "shouldn't have been sold that. What till did i go to?"
When i said self service, she went on about how i shouldn't have done that and to give it back!
    !!!!!!??!!!
Bit embarrassed but knew she was 100% out of order.
Made complaint when i got home and store manager will be telling her off.
    Feel much better now.

Just got my first ever 1p item!!! In Springhill, Bangor NI.

Tesco small pet hamster starter home
    bc - 5051399402666

    states on it-
    suitable for hamster and mice
water bottle with clip (inside bottle)
climbing tunnel x2, feeding platform x2, feeding bowl,
    exercise wheel, cage.
    size l 40cm x w 30cm x h 37cm (approx.)

in a mostly green box with blue stripe on the top and a big picture of the assembled cage. It looks good, never went through SS so quickly, my Mum asked what was wrong and had to tell her they don't like selling things so low, even the guy I asked to get the price for me said I had to ask at CS if they could sell it to me!!
Got the last 2 for my son's 2 hamsters as we found out that he's got 1 of each sex even though i asked for both to be the same!
None in Knocknagoney or Newtonbreda my Mum just had to go and check so she could get a bargain too!

LOL that store is my local and the other 2 stores you mention are my parents locals as well! Double trouble now when it comes to glitches :rotfl:

Well done on your find though. There's a scanner in the clothing and one in the tea/coffee aisle in case you ever want to price check on the quiet. I found a Karcher Window Vacuum Cleaner (think vacuum cleaner meets window squeegee) for £1.80 but thankfully scanned it myself as I'm sure the staff would have nabbed it.

Not sure if these are on special offer or are a misprice.

I picked up two smallish Progress non-stick oven trays today. They were on an end aisle with deep roasting trays - all priced at £1.50. I bought two but I think the cashier thought it was only one. Went through at 44p with an asterisk marked against the item "Oven Tray OFD"

Barcode 5010725 145707. I'm hoping the deep trays might also be on at the same low price, but can't find out until tomorrow.

I popped in Tesco today and saw a lot of the froze deserts were reduced but still on Multi Save offers according to the SEL.

    For example

    Wispla/Crunchie/Flake Ice Cream £1.74 each or 2 for £4.

    Sorbets £1.05 each or 2 for £2.50.

There were loads of such offers.

The multi save offers were no longer 'save' offers due to the reduced price.

However, do people have any knowledge/experience of whether the multi save offers will still deduct the amount that should/would have been saved.

    Eg;

Wispa Ice Cream was originally £2.50 a tub or 2 for £4.

The till would see two tubs go through (2 x £2.50) and thus automaticaly deduct a £1 to make the total £4.

Now they are £1.74 a tub, will the till still deduct the £1 due to two tubs going through? Making a total of (£1.74 x 2) minus £1 = £2.48 for 2 (£1.24 each!).

Does this make sense? I guess it's a question of whether the till deducts based on the quantity of item (2 tubs) or price of the item (has to be £2.50 to deduct the £1)

If it does work this way, then there are loads of Grabbits on offer!

No, the multibuy discount won't work in this way at Tesco.

For example, if your Wispa tubs were reduced to £2.10 each and you bought 2 tubs, then 20p would be deducted at the tills to make it 2 for £4.00. If they were reduced to £2.00 or less, then no deduction would be made.

There are the odd exceptions to this, but these seems to be pretty random.
