Further on in the article it says that if you are undercharged and challenged about it they will then be claiming DTD back from the customer so just beware! :(

dont know if im reading the right article but the only DTD to be cancelled was the one that gave you DTD if you totl shopping bill was higher than asda

also on the undercharge DTD thing once you get to the till and scanned the item then paid for it (even if you got a helicopter for 1p) then they cannot make you pay them back anything as this is seen as offer and acceptance in law.

however if the sales assistant spots it then she is within her rights not to sell it to you

The DTD against Asda prices was amazing, I have never had so much free stuff was better than RnR just didn't last as long due to us 'cottagers' I belive we were called.:rotfl:

Unfortunately threads like these will be self defeating but make hay while the sun shines.

The term cottagers comes from the article published by a Tesco spokesman who talked about the cottage industry that has grown around exploiting Tesco price errors. Nobody believed that RnR would go but it did. DTD will go if figures show that it is being abused especially on these very public forums

No it won't because if it does the complaints to trading standards about their VERY shoddy pricing standards would soar! The publicity would be terrible and wouldnt be worth the few thousand quid they lose on DTD refunds, specially when you consider how many people who get overcharged don't go back for a refund of any description!!

Anyone see daybreak this morn. Tesco have been doing choc oranges for 29p. They made it seem as if thats what they were priced, no mention of the op and their genius!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Omg, money saving arms folk are having a fit about the whole greediness of grabbit peeps feeling the need to fill trollies instead of taking one or 2!!

As it happens, i didnt get or want these but if its cheap, like toiletries, i take what i can within reason and always leave a few hidden to pass on!

They should spend less time in the pub!
