My fab shop yesterday - thanks for all posters on here - you have made my day

Large Blue gift set marked as £9 on SEL but scanned at £1.50, smaller ones i think were marked as £6 but scanned at £1, Body butters also scanned at £1........

But best of all the tresemme had a RTC of £1.20 but scanned at £4.80 so my first excellent DTD (well good for me anyway lol) Shockingly the offer should have ended on 21/10/11 hehehe

TOTAL SHOP £32.50 BUT REFUNDED £36 so they paid me £3.50 to take it all away

Think my local is getting good at spotting their own glitches. Can't even find any little ones this week
  • Was in local Tesco at 9am this morning - and all meal deals cleared out
  • I've just returned from my local and bought 6 meal deals with the Montepulciano wine and the Fougasse bread as part of each, all went through fine. Came to a total of £57.51 once the 5% wine discount came off. Now where is that price checker webpage ;)?

Valentines meal deals starting tomorrow, wonder whether the Montepulciano will be included instore! Not included online.
  • Grrrr - been had by my Tesco!!!
Bought some chicken mini fillets, 377g. SEL said £2.30, packaging said £3.59. Ha-ha I thought, I had DTD last time I spotted this. They were right next to slightly smaller packs labelled 3 for £10.

So I bought 3, sure enough, scanned at £3.59. Confidently went over to CS, she went off, brought the label back and told me the ones I'd bought had gone through correctly as the label says Healthy Living - mine weren't labelled Healthy Living. I tried to argue that there was no other label on the shelf, that the weight etc was the same so it was very misleading etc etc - but got nowher so had to accept a refund.

Now I have to go buy my chicken for dinner on sat somewhere else! But it's worth looking out for - I had DTD on exactly the same thing before Christmas, must depend on the member of staff at the time.

Er, Hello, My first time posting. (loving the be nice to newbies poster)

My name is LivvyW and i'm a lurker. I have also been a small amount of practical work 'in the t field' as it were.

    I have worked out what whoopsies, JTD's DTD;s are. I know of moc's, cs's, ss's, sa's and sel's.

Could someone please tell me what the deal with clip strips are? It is driving me insane.

    TIA

for a few months people have been buying items hanging on clipstrips for 1p each... seemed there was a glitch on a lot of clipstrip items..

eg. vegetable crisps, Harry Hill's salted nuts, sweeteners etc etc.. but they are very far and few between now... but worth checking prices of clipstrips..
