Well that would explain why half the shleves are usually cleared :rotfl: Thank you for leaving me a couple of bottle of pink parazone last night though :D I did indeedy call HO today and the very helpful guy apologised, confirmed I should have got DTD and a nice little gift card is winging its way to me :T

    Did you find anything there?

I only go to that one as it's the closest (and it's handy for me for mr A in the same trip). The only other one I go near is R*ading W*st but that's only once a week and I have limited time to check anything. Would anyone be kind enough to share whether there's any others in the area that might be a better bet? :o please :A

I went there, the scanner in the toiletries bit wasnt working and I couldnt find another one, so that totally threw me;) Could'nt find anything, checked the price on a laptop as it said RTC at £299 so I thought it might have gone down a bit more only to be told by electricals that it was actually £349 and the pile of white tickets on top of it were the wrong ones! I picked up 6 wine glasses that had 3 for 2 on as I knew they would be dtd and the SA said I'll just put 4 of these through as they're 3 for 2 because the barcode wouldnt work and she'd had to do it manually, I could have cried:rotfl::rotfl:but I will get my DTD in there;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

There's three scanners in that store, one in the toy section, the one by toiletries (was broken when I was there too) and one down the tea and coffee aisle (or perhaps the one next to it?

Well at least it's not me being a useless dimbo and not being able to find any bargains in that store :)

I spoke to a lovely SA in there who scanned a load of stuff for me and she was telling me that the electrical staff had taken most of the electrical bargains and a lot of the other staff had got the right hump with them over it!!! So don't think customers stood a chance in there:(

hehe yes a nice lady in a big tesco next to the a3 in sw london told me last night that the electrical staff all walked out with £25 laptops, and apparently the other staff are all a bit miffed because that's not fair on the rest of the staff, let alone other customers...

still a chance of finding deals though, finally got my first electrical bargain in the same store, a george foremand compact for a fiver

anyway, inadvertantly got a neat little double the difference refund today, bought 2 timmy time backpack buddies, they were priced at 40p, but when i'd paid i realised they'd gone through at £1.50 each, so I got a £4.40 double difference refund which means they paid me £1.40 to take them away! not a huge saving, but all adds up doesn't it :D
  • By chance looked at tents in tesco - they had one six person tent left. The four man was reduced but the six man had no label or sticker. So they looked on their system and it came up at £16!!!!!!!!!!!

Took it to tills and scanned at £190!! Needless to say I paid £16 wahooo!

Silly mr t - very lucky me!!
