Picked up some McVities Victoria tinned biscuits
On an ood sel was £12 each marked up as
Half price £6 so dtd of £24 for 2 tins.

Thank you - I looked for these in my store and they still showed the out of date half price label but scanned at £12 each, so received DTD of £24 and got them for free.

Hi - Thanks for the heads-up ;) Can you tell me if these are the 800g tins? Thanks :D
It only takes a moment to say a Thank-You, which goes a long way! :D

The ones I just purchased are 725g - they're in a dark blue tin.

  • wont be a national thing but if you ever buy anything off the reduced meat/chilled sections do check your reciepts. DH picked a reduced 30p curry up and wasn't until i got home noticed he'd been charged £3.00! Always thought that the barcode was different (it was a white label instead of yellow though) Went back today and got dtd so he got paid £2.40 to eat a curry lol

Do you have to ask for it or is it readily offered?? I recall once buying a box of 6 bottles of wine as a deal and charged for 6 individual bottles and when I wwent back they just offered me the difference...

Usually you have to ask for it but sometimes they just give it, no hard and fast rule. :D

Wasnt on all day yesterday, few family things to attend to but i did pick a few things in ts on my travels in the morning

Some qed hdmi cables priced at 26 to 16 scanning at 3.55
the sony mdr headphones in green packaging and gold/brown packaging scanning at 4 and customer services were reducing the black packaged ones on request after i showed them the same model number in green and gold packaging.
Some more littest pet shop toys, all ones ending in barcode 011 scanning at 50p ones ending in 06 were at full price.

Aldso met a couple from mse lol who had my list I put up the other day, Did find it very funny to see someone with a full A4 sheet of price finds. pointed them in the moon dough direction :) nice to meet you guys.

That was us :) thanks again for the moon sand find, probably would have left pretty empty handed otherwise, even with all the info in front of me. Thinking about going again this morning but might leave it til the tiny terror comes out of nursery to give us more time...but it is a double edged sword especially looking for toys, he seems to think he should get them all NOW! :rotfl:We live over the water in fife so our nearest large Mr T's is D*ndee so we need to allow a half hour for travelling each way. I do need a new hairdryer though so maybe worth a trip.

DTD - McVities VICTORIA tin chocolate biscuits - SEL marked half price @ £6 but scanning at £12 = free biscuits (posted above, thanks)

    Also

Fox's boxed biscuit, chocolate edition (in a purple coloured box 400g) - Again, marked half price @ £3 but scanning at £6 :)

I've got 8 tins and 6 boxes of biscuits and all for FREE ... now waiting for the offers on slimfast ;)

ETA - They also had small boxes of festive biscuits (like those animals) which we £1.9* each or 2 for £2 - but not scanning at any store yet, so watch out for when they go live in case they glitch)

(To help people reading this thread, I've changed the colour to red so no one misses a misprice ... might be an idea to follow )

Moon sand was scanning correctly at Sl*ugh last night. No Barbies left - well, all stickers removed anyway :(

Only find was Parazone pink bleach, SEL 60p still scanning BOGOF. Oh, I did get the last 2 packs of pork mince but only got the diff back - CS said because it was pre-priced on the pack I wasn't allowed DTD, and manually reduced the amount on the till to JTD :(
