ok everyone so how does JTD work?
I thought I went to the tesco price checker, put in my recipt details and if something came up cheaper in asda then they give you JTD so I kinda expected a voucher attachment.
Well, I put in yesterdays receipt details, 1 item has come up a few pence cheaper in Asda but all it says is that my total shop was cheaper at Tesco!!!!!
Need to know how to get JTD as I purposely got the finest meal deal today with the wine that gives JTD and dont wan to put my reciept details in if I'm not doing something right.

Anyone help please, thanks

I only every purchase the meal deals separately to get the jtd voucher.
My store is small so normally on the ball wrt prices, so I make sure I separate my shop to get the best jtd.

Thanks in anticipation.

What are they playing at in Mr T's. I found & gino dewotsisnam & Denby dinner services today. Both on offer SEL expiry date 15.1.12 so unless I'm mistaken that means they are out of date. Great excitment except they both scanned for less than SEL. Does that mean I would have to pay Mr T's dtd!!

Hi Hun - what you can do is keep your tesco receipts and check them on their online price checker..... you have to put your email address in and all the numbers on the bottom of the receipt (like date, time....also includes the store number and till number and things like that) they then check the price of your shopping against asda's current prices and if Asda would have been cheaper then the email you a voucher to print off for the difference so your shopping would have cost the same

Here's a link to the price checker......

Hope that helps hun x

i found tescos catchphrase "every little helps" doesnt apply to their customer service. Went to customer service after thinking that had been over charged a rude little man behind the desk said i hadnt as the price was the packet of 2. so i asked if he could get me that packet he said it wasnt his job .Store manger was walking passed i told him the gentleman refused to get the correct product he was also rude and said he didnt need to. "so every little helps is a phrase that the staff at tesco dont take serious. He then went to get the product no wonder tesco is losing customers. The staff in G@@dmayes store are so rude

It must be Tesco policy to be ignorant. A friend of a friend works in my local, whenever I see him in the street he always says hi, or in the pub we have a little chat , yet whenever I see him in work he ignores me

the staff in my local are also the worst staff i have ever had the mis fortune to encounter too, i often wonder why this is,as we have a sainsburys and asda also all within a stones throw from one another and the staff in those stores are great, so they have the same employment pool to get their people from,i think it maybe some sort of flaw with tescos recruitment/screening and then maybe lack of positive training, if i were you i would email philip clarke ceo office or customer service at head office and let them know of your experience

emails addys philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com or customer.service@tesco.co.uk

Hi everyone
been lurking here for a little while now and thought about time i joined in. amazed at all the deals you all are finding, i never seem to find any glitches in my local:(. Looked for the 9pk of mars but none of the stores near me are stocking them or the disney stocking things. Did ok today though, got a £20 shop for £10 using coupons and luncheon vouchers, including some nice bath bits rtc for 50p each- straight into the box of bits i collect for my boys playgroup raffles.
