Really small price error. Mr Kiplings lemon slices yellow sel saying £1 went through till at £1.40 so 80p back. Not a big one, but they are exceedingly good cakes.

Just got my JTD voucher back for £3.29

Making the £10 Meal Deal really good value.

The Red Wine gives the JTD.

You press the home button and the power button at the same time and it puts in in your photos

ok everyone so how does JTD work?
I thought I went to the tesco price checker, put in my recipt details and if something came up cheaper in asda then they give you JTD so I kinda expected a voucher attachment.
Well, I put in yesterdays receipt details, 1 item has come up a few pence cheaper in Asda but all it says is that my total shop was cheaper at Tesco!!!!!
Need to know how to get JTD as I purposely got the finest meal deal today with the wine that gives JTD and dont wan to put my reciept details in if I'm not doing something right.

    Anyone help please, thanks

Hmm sometimes Tesco have cheaper products which reduces the value of the voucher if that makes sense?

So if you bought the meal deal separately without others bit and bobs then you should get a voucher. However if you bought meal deal plus fruit and veg then it compares all your products on your overall basket. Hope that makes sense.

I sometimes have 3 different transactions at the self scan just so I know I will get a voucher back:D

Damn, very annoyed now as I got a meal deal to get JTD back (wouldn't have paid a tenner for it all, but was happy with £6.61 after my JTD) which probably isn't going to happen now then:mad: as I got reduced baby foods that won't be cheaper at ADSA so Tescos bill will be cheaper.

Was pleased with my reduced baby foods but now it's not really worked in my favour

Take the wine back and exchange it for more baby food, that way the food has only cost you £1.71 minus any JTD you get. Then get the meal deal again separately if you still want the wine.
  • Following on what has been posted here I went for a firkle round my local store at Wck and the only item I could find was the Surf 25 washes (pink box) with an OOD SEL showing it was on offer at £5 instead of £6.70.
I took it to the checkout and sure enough went through at the full price of £6.70.
So off I trot to CS and quietly tell them its an overcharge.
They telephone a manager who tells them to tell me the £6.70 was correct.
I suddenly had an idea of what they were up to and said to the CS assistant, 'right, come with me and I'll show you' and just headed off to the relevant isle and JUST got there as the 'manager' was removing the yellow OOD SEL!!!
He pretended he was just looking at it but they accepted I had been overcharged and I got my £3.40 back.
What lousy practice, to try to deny an error.
In future I'll do what others do and take photos!
