I merely agreed and said I was going to do mine.....I havent yet tho, did some preserving instead:o:o

a bit late I know and I am a bit of a no show a lot of the times.

Feeling stressed due to living too far from my family again. Dsis taken into hosp as they thing she MAY have a clot on lung....this has been going on for last 6 weeks, anti Bs, ventolin, you are ok etc..... its hard for me as her OH is away on business for 3 weeks at the mo he is in NZ. I wish I was there with her, BUT her son has been brill, he turned 21 last week and is my hero, he rung drs and they said bring her down, he said NO and dr came round :T so its getting sorted, waiting for an update after him and DN have been to visit.


I do read every day (mostly at work where I can't thank)

Evening all,

I see there are still unfeeling people talking about cleaning under the sink and other places....please stop, I am crawling around at the moment so not fit for anything.

Nice enough day here, overcast but not too cold, had to go to garda (police) station to report loss of OH's hearing aid....he lost it outside, no crime involved but insurance company still insist we report it....also discovered that SW will only pay for one aid as they are insured against loss....so will need to have €2340 to pay the nice man when he comes to-morrow, will write a cheque but will have to run round getting money out of accounts to make sure that there is enough in account to cover cheque....miscalculated amount of cheque to-day so another trip to Naas to-morrow...senior moments doubling up on each other at present!

Hugs to all of you in trouble of any kind to-day, "this too shall pass".

Dinner today was pork chops with caramelised apple slices, onion and cabbage and some of the lovely potatoes we are getting at present.....biscuits afterwards as we are out of baked goods at present and I can't be bothered baking, did some bread, will have to make an effort to-morrow though as biscuits are nearly all gone now.

Haven't yet decided whether to drive to Cork for weekend or go on train, no petrol or toll costs with train, so free trip since we both have our travel passes....mmmm train is looking more attractive by the minute...

Really need to do a tidy up before weekend as DD4 is dog and cat sitting and DGS2 told me that it wasn't fair that she should have to tidy here everytime she stays....will defend his mother to death that one!

update sis let home from hosp, not blood clot, but nothing else showing, sis glad to be home, her DS and DD looking after her while her DH away.....so glad to speak to her. She only had one mo when breath went and couldnt speak :T last week it was a word and she had enough!
