Morning all. DH off to work with packed lunch and dinner (on call again so I've sent him with it in case he doesn't make it home like Sunday. Otherwise he can bring it back and eat it) DW filled, about to empty WM and then take hound for a walk. Pouring with rain 5 mins ago, now blue sky.

Zumba again this morning. My legs hurt much less from LBT than last week. Progress. Weight is coming off nicely as well. I'm keeping a detailed on-line food diary. Its a pain to weigh everything but it really keeps my mind on what I'm eating and keeps me from snacking. Instead I'm drinking herbal tea. A lot.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning
Up at 7 as DS can still not be trusted to get himself up for school  Bit of a nip in the air this morning but it's bright n breezy so have put on a towel wash ready for going on the line when someone else gets up :o Was feeling a bit cack last night so had an early night & no-one did the dw so my kitchen is a tip :( so demoralizing 1st thing in the morning.
No real plans today, maybe some more knitting as I finished my snowman for my little niece yesterday & am so pleased with it I thought I would do a couple more for the other littluns. Would post a photo but lappy is refusing to recognise my phone this morning, maybe later.
Think I'm gonna have another coffee & then attempt to sort out my kitchen.
Hope you all have as good as possible a day x
    Hugs, spoons & hi5's,

  • Morning Everyone :hello:

So today I have my second loaf of bread on already, I don't need my loaf until tomorrow, but tomorrow we are attempting a pizza base in the machine so won't have time for two loaves and that! As it has to be a Low Gi pizza base, i need all the luck I can get as I am planning on tweeking the recipe and have to guess on how much water to use

Apart from a quick tidy up today is another nice slow day, i'm not feeling 100% (i think I did too much over the weekend because I am barely functioning) so I am going to take it easy and hope by tomorrow I have my energy back :)

Dinner tonight is LO Honey and Mustard Gammon with veg (and Mash or Chips for the boys)

I am going to go finish off designing my housework rota, then finish my shopping list for next week :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful day x

    Morning all,

Looked a bit overcast first thing, but seems to be brighter now, will go and search out some towels to wash.

Need to do some paid for office work this morning, I really enjoy the extra cash it brings in, but it does interfere with my routine :o, still the money is handy for xmas, have started to get a few bits now.

Dinner tonight is either chicken casserole or chicken curry, with the other tomorrow night, I bought a pack of legs, and OH has froozen the lot together, normally I would not have the same thing 2 days running, but needs must, and food is so exensive now, gone are the days of a regular weekly roast, a roast is a treat for us now.

Need to clean under my sinks today :D and do the cutlery drawer, dd did the food cupboard yesterday, will ask her to do a bit more today.

OK better get on, have good days all xx

Up at 6.30 as we have a friend staying and she needs to get to her new job north of Bristol. Got up and kept her company over breakfast. It is lovely to see her and she is staying a few nights with us until her digs are sorted out. Then she will be commuting from London weekly.

She has moaned before about our Ikea put u up chair bed, but we bought a kind of mattress topper to put on it when DD came home for a holiday. Friend now very complimentary about her sleeping arrangements. Phew!

She taught me a new take on porridge today-she added a couple of spoonfuls of flaked quinoa to porridge oats and water and cooked in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Then she added soya milk/yoghurt and chopped fruit. No added sugar and not loads of milk either. I had some with ordinary milk and it was very nice indeed. Must be flaked quinoa apparently. I didn't know you could get it but she buys it from the health food shop.

Gym today I think but I wish it would stop raining as I want to see the sun.

Tea will be a spatchcock chicken thing she brought from M&S with roasted veg. Keep your fingers crossed because I'm not good with roasted veg but I will cook them for longer this time.

I may have a nap this afternoon too......

Have a good day all-hugs and kind thoughts to all who need them.

    Morning all,
Grey sky here today, if it's not going to rain I plan to go walkies and pick some sloes, I'll make sloe gin for crimble pressies with some cheap gin we brought back from Spain when we stayed with DB1 in June. DM is out staying with him this week so I'll Skype them later.
I made some sos rolls and pasties yday so that's DH's packed lunch sorted.
Still feeling _pale_ and not being able to eat much is making me so tired. I phoned the surgury last thurs and the first app they can give me is on friday 23rd so I'll get the results of the biopsies then.
I'll have a rumage in the freezer to sort something out for DH's dinner. Not much going on here today so I'll end by sending
(((((((( hugs))))))) to all poorlies and those worried.
  • hugs ((betheebee)) I have found recently that what with feeling sick and not eating much made me tired. I added more meat into my diet and it's really helped my energy levels. No matter what I hope you feel better soon x

Grey start here today and forecast is for rain so I won't be doing any washing today - I haven't got a machine load yet anyway so it can wait until tomorrow.

DH is taking me and a friend over to B&M today because she has never been there and as she doesn't drive there are no buses so we said that we would take her.

Apart from that not much to do today so I think that i will make a couple more loves of bread and some twinks when I get back.

    BFN x
