Morning everyone,
Well the sun is shining here at the moment so washing is on the line. Also washed some throws that we use in winter so they will be nice and dry soon.
Toad in the hole for tea, some lovely leftover chicken soup for lunch.
BM on.
Think I may get out my craft stuff and start making some xmas cards. Didnt sleep well last night so at the moment I am in a CBA mood.
So will see what the day brings.:(
Postive hugs for everyone who needs them.:)Taking it one day at a time0 -
Morning all, for some unknown reason OH decided to dismantle my doorbell just as I was leaving for work so I ended up being a few minutes late, not that it really mattered as noone else was in yet. For all the intelligence he has, he does the silliest things at times. His 2nd interview went v well, apparently he already had lots of the skills and legal knowledge that they spend six months training people for. Fingers crossed!
It's gone ever so cold and grey today and... I love itI bought a lovely big, soft jumper at H&M yesterday for only £14.99 well worth it with this weather.
Heard from my Mum to say in the company take over she's the only manager to keep a manager role, and she actually got promoted a bit! So proud, she's really good at stuff when she puts her mind to it but always underestimates herself.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Morning allZumba again this morning. My legs hurt much less from LBT than last week. Progress. Weight is coming off nicely as well. I'm keeping a detailed on-line food diary. Its a pain to weigh everything but it really keeps my mind on what I'm eating and keeps me from snacking. Instead I'm drinking herbal tea. A lot.
Cat - good luck! I'm so fed up with not being able to exercise due to the vertigobut I have appt with specialist on Thurs so am hoping I may be able to start exercising soon. I love herbal teas, hated them at beginning of year, but needed to cut down on caffiene as it affects my vertigo so started drinking them I have a pile in work in the kitchen, and the boys in the office are now drinking them occasionally too!
Still !!!!!!! raining here! So much for an indian summer!
I'm meeting my ex-colleague for lunch today - the one whose Dad passed away few weeks back, she went back to work for the first time yday. I have acupuncture this afternoon too, last appt hopefully. And tonight I'm meeting the girls for dinner!
OS wise - froze the celery soup I made last night as I won't be eating it for lunch or tea tonight! DW loaded and flatmate will be putting it on later.
Have a good day all

DW on and kitchen tidied. Need to clean bathroom and sitting room floor and have a load of ebay things to photograph so I can list tonight. Off out to bank in a minute on my bike as it'll be quicker inbetween showers and going swimming with a friend at lunchtime.
Dinner is the aformentioned soup with a fruit crumble for pud with the last of a punnet of plums, a leftover apple and a couple of fallen pears from next doors tree!! Cosy comfort food is needed with all this autumnal weather...I think it may be another looonng winter.

Morning ladies, bbbrrrrr its chilly here .Thank you so much for all the advice given regarding dd, still no contact from her , but ex g/f left a voice mail to tell me she is in school , then school called to confirm this so at least she is back in school.Suppose he is doing something right;).
Anyway Dsis txt me earlier to say she has won 2 tickets to the x-factor final and would I like to go:j:j:j:j. Damm right. No details yet she is coming round after work to tell me more. Something to look forward to.
Dinner is beef curry using leftovers that we were meant to use up yesterday but after the big drama we caved and had a cheeky takeaway:eek:. ;)Have to have an eye test tomorrow as eyes are going really fuzzy so new glasses are definately on the cards.Um what else , oh yes housework all done, didn't really sleep last night so was up and down pottering about , back bleeding hurts now though, woofer walked washing out. Am hoping ds3 provisional licence turns up today or tomorrow as it is his 17th birthday Thursday and he wants to start driving asap waiting on an order arriving full of clothes that he chose for his birthday. He wants a poker night at the weekend :eek: poker, I dunno how to play poker , have told him fine as long as its not for notes just coins and as long as he doesn't expect me to be running round with drinks and snacks;).He is a good boy and I trust him and his mates to behave so I will be off to my sisters for a girly night.
Will go back now and read all through the thread, hugs for all .:)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -
Good Morning Everyone!
BM on, DW finished - and no need for WM as I don't have enough for a full load today.
Need to go and get rail tickets as we are going up to London to visit DS in hospital later, and our local ticket office never seems to be open after lunch. Done a load of minutes from last night's meeting so am feeling quite virtuous at the moment. Am ignoring the general housework though! All that talk yesterday about cupboards under sinks and cutlery drawers - I had to go and lie down in a darkened room!
Uolypool, glad you have heard that DD is OK and in school. Sure she'll find there are soon rules where she is now, then maybe she'll see you have a point!
Right must go and get to the station. Hope you all have a good day. take care.Resolution:

Morning everyone.
I have a headache. DD came wandering in at 4.30am, took ages to go off to sleep and I never really went back to sleep. Full of cold still too so all in all feeling pretty pants
No idea what I am doing today, CBA reallyI think I overdid it cleaning out my cupboard under the sink yesterday :rotfl::rotfl:
Might push a duster round if I get the inclination. I've got apples to stew so might start those in a minute.
A friend wants me to make her DD the Sleeping Beauty cake that I made for my DD's birthday. £25 just for the cost of the ingredients alone  How does anyone make any money making cakes.
First class of my cake decorating course tonight. Would rather go to bed but I've paid for it so will need to drag my poorly a s s there.
Ulypool - Glad Ex's GF is keeping you in the picture. I have to say lack of rules at her dads is all well and good for short bursts but I do wonder how they will cope with her behaviour on a full time basis. Hugs for you anyway xxx
beth - have a hug xx
sistercas - hope the funeral goes well xxx

Morning chums did the school run and hung out Dds washing and after an early lunch will pop round to put the next wash out for her than off to the clinic to see the nurse re my arm Not happy about it at the moment as I had a dreadful night with pins and needles in it, and by 3.30a.m. had to take the bandaging off so she's not going to be happy with me .But I have got my 'sleeve ' on and that holds everything fairly firmly When I took the bandages off I had a huge wheal across the top of my arm and it was very itchy which isn't right. So I'm not the happiest of folk this morning DD made me stay for dinner last night as she said there was no way I could cook anything the way I was strapped up I could just about drive, and that was it,so there maybe a few words said this afternoon
Ho hum I'm off to search for something for lunch to put me in a better mood
Cheers Chums
