JackieO oh dear, that doesn't sound so good; I hope they can give you some answers about the wheal and itchiness - my first thought is that perhaps you're sensitive to something in the bandage material, but of course that's purely a guess. Good luck with your appointment.:o
I really must get our packing list done - off to Kent for a 3 day break next week, and I always do a packing list so that we don't forget to take vital things like our meds!:D
Doglets went home Sunday night, so bungalow is currently very empty, with the result that I don't want to get on and do anything.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
/2Hi all:D:D
As predicted SOTD cannot cope with Boo and the new sprog, so i'm having her today and tonight, as well as Sat day and night:D:DLove having her so it's not a prob, she said "Nanny i'm your baby aren't I?" yest, and I nearly cried. She was very good in the dentist, but a tazmanian devil in the library:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Apart from that am really flagging, but have my B12 jab tomoz, so hopefully that will give me a boost:D:D
OS wise was gonna try TAPPERS pie, but don't think i'll have time:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Think it's smiley faces, fish fingers and beans all round, apart from me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Afternoon everyone.
Back from work so time to make a start on the tidying up but I've got to let the chickens out from their pen to free range the garden first.
Dinner tonight will be spag bol (with a mince building block from the freezer). Then tonight I'd like a chance to sit down and do my menu planning etc.
Hope all goes well for those of you with troubles.
(And Tired-Mum - I was so impressed with the 40's day at Chatham - would heartily recommend it to anyone) :T0 -
Hi all,
Missed posting yesterday - bit busy sorting the house for my Dad,s arrival on Friday - we,ve been doing up the house, loads of building work and it just struck me that I had better get my bum into gear yesterday :rotfl:
Going to make 2 veg lasagne,s for the freezer tonight, as Dad and SM don,t eat meat and I thought it would be something easy to chuck in the oven after they arrive Friday, will be 8 of us eating - just going to make sausage and chips for us for dinner tonight:)
The dead washing machine can be revived at the cost of £120:eek: but at least its cheaper than a new one:cool: hopefully will be back together by tomorrow - the house looks like an industrial laundy at the moment:D
Can see the monthly budget going a bit pear-shaped this month due to visitors and WM, but will have to wear it and cut back next month:o
Hope your all well, and have a fab evening xNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

It's been a manic few days chez nous so the computer's had a good rest. Today we had 3 different sets of people here at the same time. The vicaress dealt with them one at a time while I plied the others with coffee, listened to their troubles and answered the phone which rings more or less constantly. Had plans to spend the morning in the garden but no chance. The weeds are flourishing undisturbed.
beth: It's horrible waiting for results. Will be thinking of you until Friday. I bet every day feels like a week.
adelight: So glad someone-else loves dull, grey days. I get a really good feeling and sometimes a great rush of energy on days like that. Weird? Probably.
uolypool: I imagine that in your Ex's house everyone is on their best behaviour still. How long do you think that will last? You know she is safe and going to school so try to look on this as a well deserved break. Goodness knows, you're just about due for one My volatile DS1 left home more than once, each time I lent him my suitcase and offered to help him pack. I think the longest he was away was about a week, while I enjoyed a quiet house for a while.
Bitsy: Sorry you are feeling tired. It's obviously a punishment for clearing out your undersink cupboard and making us all feel inferior.
JackieO: Oooh! itchy things are horrible aren't they? Hope you can get it sorted out.
Nothing much OS in evidence today. Had planned on something in the slow cooker but owing to the silly morning and the fact that I have a meeting at 6.30 and OH has one at 7.30 I think it is going to have to be something in a very fast cooker indeed. Probably jacket potatoes partly microwaved and finished off in the oven with cheese, egg and salad. Pudding? I don't think so.I believe that friends are quiet angels

I believe it was NPM who started the cupboard under the sink clean up
and yes I did mine today as well. I don't think that I need to buy any cleaning stuff for at least a year  I've got that much stuff under there:rotfl: but at least I know where it all is now.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Evening all
I've had a good day. Met my ex-colleague for lunch, she is doing very well, talking about her Dad etc. She is getting married in 3 weeks so is focussing on that. Then I had accupuncture, she reckons I don't need any more regular appts, just the odd top up when I feel rough.
Then I met the girls for dinner, we went to Pizza Express (used a 241voucher). Nice to catch up.
OS update - half tidied room, and sorted loads of paperwork.
New car update....he has been named Bruce! And I've put a pic on FB if you want to see it (I don't know how to put pics on here)
Have a good evening all
