  • Darn lost my post!

I guess mine was bigger than it needed to be as it was the one the vets had - however, glad it was as it did give her a wee bit of room to move around and we all know how fussy the wee "darlings" can be about having the tray too close to bed/food/water etc!

I found this re sizes for dogs

Depending on how big George is the small one should be fine

Just had a phone call from the orthopaedic vet who is going to operate on George - to tell me they taking my little ginger boy into operating theatre now :(

They are going to call me about 5-6 to let me know how it all went.

Fingers crossed all goes well, he is such a happy little cat, always wanting to be outside climbing trees, catching bees etc....Hope they get him sorted well and proper...

    :(
  • (((hugs))) the waiting is horrible, sure he'll be fine.

No climbing trees for a while tho:(

Yup.. pity as this one arrived in my place yesterday:

VERY highly reccomended, only £40 and excellent quality:

    On Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004ZELOGG/ref=s9_simh_gw_p199_d0_g199_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=04VFRJY77J18AK9M03X6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128533&pf_rd_i=468294

Teddy fits on this one, that says something - got this as a pressie for my cats... sigh... wish I knew earlier about George - would have asked for a crate :(

But a lady at the vets said she may be able to lend me one of her own, will let me know in the evening.. fingers crossed :(
  • That tree looks great - I got one the same as this http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/scratching_posts/medium/15128 (but off E*bay) a few weeks ago and had to re-sell it as the sizes were wrong and it was too wide for the room (which I was well p'd off about:mad:).

I did get more for it than I paid for it tho' so all not lost.

Will need to hunt around for a replacement .....

Fingers crossed the vets come up trumps with the crate - thank god you got the insurance sorted for them all before this happened ......

  • I'm having a wee chuckle - usually struggle to get stuff online (apart from PAH who will leave without a signature) as not in during the day to sign for deliveries.

In the past week, while I've been off work, I've so far got stuff from PAH, Sea+pets and am waiting for something from Zoo+.

I may be bankrupt if I go on like this for the next 4 weeks!

Still, I've managed to get a 10kg bag of Royal Canin that they both eat for £39 (which should last around 6 months) and got 2 x 4kg bags that the boy eats for £28 (which should last about 8 months) so it'll work out cheaper in the long run!:D

Off to hunt Amazon for cat trees - I remember seeing some great ones on there but they all needed signature on delivery ..........

Frankly I was shocked at the quality of this tree - excellent for this price. Zooplyus similar are much more expensive.

Alll svelves are wide enough for even Teddy to manage to lie on them and very solid..

    Excellent value for £40.

The same company (Cumfy Pets) have another tree too - with hanging bits etc in blue or brown, I did not even know Amazon sells those....

My one is second hand from Gumtree ;) but in mint condition.. Only looked it up (by the brand tag) when I got it home.. thought the new one would be much more expensive to be honest, great bargain...

I wanted enough "shelves" for my 4 plus 2 of my daughter's (when they visit) and now possibly Lucy the little pregnant cat who is at my daughter's and her babies when they arrive.... sigh.... NO, I am not counting how many in total ....
