Not the cutlery drawer! Don't give me idea's DH intists that I am nesting... and I just keep coming up with more and more things which need cleaning!
The cutlery drawer is going to bug me now.........We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
im new on here but would still like to offer hugs to everyone that needs one today (()). we are having a sad day as a close family member has gone back to a abusive/controlling/cheating partner, that stops us from seeing her (she is my sons godmother). Ive been at work today, it has been reasonably busy and a pretty good day
I used to buy lunch a drink and a mag on my dinner but im now taking my own lunch, own tea bags and milk for tea, and went in with a book today
- but my lovely colleague had brought me some mags she had read!

You feeling ok hun?:D:D:D:D;)
TAPPERS can I have the recipe for the cheese pie hun?:)
its not a recipe as such but here's how I do it.
Cheese and potato pie
I line lots of small dishes(or a big one if I make it at work) with some short crust pastry. I part bake them in the oven till the pastry is starting to firm up(!!!!! their bottoms;):D)
Make your mash and stick in grated cheese, mustard, salt, pepper, butter etc.
I fry off a few mushrooms and onions and put them on the part- cooked pastry then stick the mash on top and sprinkle grated cheese on it and sliced tomatoes then stick it in the oven. Simples:D
I do it in small dishes so I can freeze it and take it out as and when I need it.
Its one of my favourite dinners with some beans and brown sauce.Do what you love :happyhear0 -

I have just sat down after finishing work at 5! Moussaka just needs finishing off - although waitrose had no aubergines!! OH doesn't actually know what moussaka is, so may be able to fob him off - he's got the car and i really can't be bothered to go to sainsburys when he gets home!
Chicken is marinading for the tandoori chicken we are having tomorrow.
Got some Gu desserts for 99p in waitrose, so thats that sorted too.
Lunches are sorted for tomorrow, I'm having a cuppa and going to read my book, and maybe go to bed early, don't even feel like eating dinner now!!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Gosh you make a fancy cheese and potato pie Tappers!! :rotfl:
I had it for tea tonight, and I make mine by making mash and adding some cheese to the mash, then grate cheese ontop (I sometimes push the boat out and add some Mexicana cheese to it) and whack under grill. Served with runner beans tonight, but normally it's beans and brown sauce.
