Sorry to be dim, but the guidelines just posted say no pm'ing codes and no exchanging names and addresses to post coupons. Surely if two people in a pm choose to exchange e-mail addresses voluntarily and knowingly, subsequently to exchange information, that is not against forum rules? It goes on all the time on other threads/boards and is not frowned on/deleted - is it different for this thread? I had understood that only selective offering to provide coupons was barred?

I have benefited hugely from the kindness of MSE'ers and would love to be able to reciprocate but do not want to infringe - so how can I assist my fellow MSE'ers. The Sacla coupon is valid, has a long expiry date, can be printed as many times as a user needs and is accepted in all the stores I have used it in (T, M and S). The offer has not been pulled, just the availabiltiy of the voucher. It doesn't seem very MSE that I can have free jars of sauce and others can't have the same opportunity. How can we make this available to all those that would like to benefit? Suggestions welcomed.

I know what you mean I feel it is a bit mean not to share just because the link is not working . If not against the rules can someone who knows how to repost the original pdf. I would if I had it or knew how to. Having worked in a supermarket chain head office donkeys years ago it is no coincidence that the manufacturers have been offering the coupons at the same time they have been financing the special offers on the items ,they do it to gain product space on the shelves for the future. The mark up on items like sacla is enormous even at 49p a jar which the coupon at best gives us unless you go to Morrisons that is.

AND hope others won't either last thing this thread needs is closing again . no one wins that way

    so just posting this
    1st link covers

Thanks MT. Fully understand what you are saying. And totally agree re not jeopardising the thread. Just wondered if there was any possibility of a less stringent approach on this issue as that could help a lot of peeps out in difficult times. Guess this question is for Brown toa (?) Or their advice on where the pdf of the coupon could be hosted that it is acceptable to publish on MSE - have read that googledocs is not OK but is there any other acceptable platform? (sorry, not very savvy so don't really know how it works). That way the haves can happily share with the have nots IYSIM.

If anyone is planning to use the Morrisons £10 off voucher today from the Sunday Mirror please check your receipt before you leave as it was only scanning for £3 off just now in my local extra.

This just happened to me as well at our Extra in Br**dst**rs - I only noticed once I had paid and was checking my receipt whilst walking out of the shop - went to the CS desk who said there was nothing they could do about it as it was a competitors coupon and they could not over-ride it, but they could give me the coupon back (if I paid them £3) so that I could take it up with Morrisons. I decided to leave it with them and I will be phoning up CS HO tomorrow to see if I can get £7 refunded onto my card.

So check the coupon as it scans if using in Tescos!

Badly trouted in morrisons today in wood green. Refused sacla sauce coupons and 20p moc campbells today. Waited 15 minutes for them to give answer. Was fuming but wanted to know the answer. Yes, i do have a few already, was trying to get some for my liitle sis and OH likes the rice for lunch. Was told SA's are being given a headache so that is why becoming so troutful!!! Thinks there is some store issue as SA who labels up whoopsie veg also been given a headache for making things too cheap.

Is anyone aware of tesco changing their coupon policy. We were told today by a SA and a supervisor that they were only accepting internet coupons with SafeCoupon on them, and not the other ones. Coupons denied were the colgate toothpaste, campbells soup, honey shreddies and utterly butterly.

    Regards
    Chris
Sister in law works at Tesco and has just been telling us that her branch has issued an internal memo today to all staff saying exactly that.

Do not accept any more internet coupons unless they are SafeCoupons. Due to the fact that some customers have been getting 10, 20, and in one case 50, of the same product in one visit.

Looks like some peoples greed has killed off a lot of good money saving offers. :(

  • Hi I was wondering if you could help me. There are a couple of things Im after buying from Tesco this week using MOCs. One item is retailing at £3 more than Asda but with MOC it will be the same, the other thing is more expensive than Adsa and Sains even with the MOC. Ive used Asda Price before but not sure if there is any way to get the difference back from Tesco. I ve never really shopped there before. Thanks in advance.
