Murtleturlte thanks for your time to explain.
As you can see from my profile I have been a member of this board for a long time and I do understand your comments.
I don't and will never get into any kind of argument on any message board as I see it as an ideal way of sharing points of view and this one especially passes on great info which also saves many people lots of money.
I do have a couple of points though.
a. YES everyone should read the first post to understand the rules but I would say for many it is very long winded and very busy/even confusing.
b. rather than a moderator being snappy at another poster, a polite message like the ones you have posted wouldn't make the poster feeling a little stupid? Which ultimately may mean the poster will never visit again.
After all we are all here to help one another and hopefully grab a few bargains whilst they last.myrtleturtle wrote: »hi F and welcome
i have myself answered this many time and posted board/forum rules links to first pages
yes we try to help in other but its not our rules but rules set out by MSE
exchanging of personal details are allowed
see my earlier post for links
all we ask is that people take the time to read first pages
we don't mind answering questions but it can be time consuming and take up alot of room when you have to answer the same questions over very few posts or when information is clearly on 1st pages ( not always granted) but mostly is0 -
PLEASE read as these few things help me with the thread

PLEASE
-can people check the first pages BEFORE posting coupon finds and before asking where a coupon is , they are all on first pages take takes a few minutes to look.
- politely let me know if you if you find a non working link or expired coupon.
- if you find a valid/working coupon in 'gone not forgotten' let me know but please make sure its valid before posting a request to add it back in current list.
putting any of the above in BOLD BLUE
link to drivel thread to help keep general non coupon related chatter down to a minimum, everyones welcome
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=3405981
please remember this is the printable coupon thread, so unless it involves coupon use please post tesco JTD and such like in the relevant thread
also do not post non coupon related links such as freebies , unless a coupons involved or competitions etc
please post them in their relevant threads
AND
keep things polite if you need help/info ask politely and you'll get a quicker reply.
but also
if/when you recieve the help/info you asked for . PLEASE thanks/acknowledge the reply because that is just as rude and discourages people from helping again.
THANKS
AND DON'T MULTI PRINT / PHOTOCOPY COUPONS ( see coupon FAQs on 1st pages)
a short term gain for one, will lead to a long term lose for all0 -

hi F
glad my post wording comes across ok ,i always try to be careful how i word things
like i say i will always answer a question/query if i can, the best i can.
you say confusing which bits??
yes its takes a while to read but its well worth it and it does have to cover alot of information as possible.
in all board guides defense some have many threads to look after and don't always have time to post long posts in explanation
and sadly not everyone reads the same posts the same. what sounds ok to some can sound wrong to others.
i'm on nearly everyday (well if honest everyday) as are some others who help with info and we do try to answer things more fully when we canMurtleturlte thanks for your time to explain.

:rotfl: you misunderstood, bad wording on my part.
i meant you actually grocery shop large/small
might depend on reason for returning themcarpediem11176 wrote: »It was a pack of Cushelle toilet paper for which I had a 50p Manufacturers Coupon for. Oh, mine in a huge Tescos...

As a matter of interest is it against mse rules for someone who has saved the pdf of say the sacla £1 coupon to repost it on here. We have had pdf coupons posted on here before that are not from the manufacturers site. It would certainly save the continuous requests for them. Even the most seasoned couponer can forget to save the file .yet again posts removed for asking for coupons to be emailed etc
please take time to read the first few posts in the thread0 -
watch out. £10 off morrisons spend is scanning through as £3 at tesco. Have a good look at your receipt. Took forever to sort out at CS.
Managed to use £10 off @ Morrisons, £5 off @ Tesco, £2 off @ Sainsbury, £3 off Coca Cola (sent me a voucher when I complained) and a soup. Well chuffed.0 -
hi twig
from what i understand but i'm sure BT will correct if i'm wrong
its ok to post the original PDF link if the coupons not been pulled by manufacturer, ones you mentioned are the original PDF links
but you can't post say a googledoc file or similarAs a matter of interest is it against mse rules for someone who has saved the pdf of say the sacla £1 coupon to repost it on here. Is anyone else having problems finding the innocent veg pot coupon?
When I click on it I get the tweet and eat page but - it says "sorry, not available in your area". Seems odd I'm in the UK - tried it on chrome and firefox just in case.

Any ideas why? I really like the veg pots but would never pay full price for them!"Things can only get better.................c/o D:Ream #The 90's"
